This sucks. He’s our sixth man and he brings it off the bench every time. He’ll definitely be missed.
This definitely hurts our bench. The silver lining is that Amen and Cam will get more run and even if they struggle it will be good for their development. I was really looking forward to an Amen, Tari, Whitmore, and Tate horror show for other 2nd units.
Eason missed the final three games of the preseason with what the Rockets called a contusion. Tests after Friday’s game indicated the more serious injury, often requiring more than the two-to-three-week time frame the Rockets estimated for Eason to return. Amen will take a few games to get the confidence he needs, but if given the minutes he will be a monster by the all-star game. We got the best player in the last decade, mark my words!
Well heck. Would have been nice to have diagnosed that injury sooner. It would be like Tari to say, "I'm fine!" after a week or two. I hope they keep a close eye on him and make sure he gets over this. He's a key member of our rotation.
