Amen definitely was the best player in the second half but I think guys like Bam and Herro barely played that half. Green was more of an observer the second half.

Try to praise another player without mentioning a guy named JG in the same paragraph. Appreciate it.

Ive moved Amen up to #1 in my rankings of our roster.

    Amen
    Jabari
    Jalen
    Sengun
    Cam

Amen is just to smart combined with elite physical traits and size to fail. Really pumped to have him as PG of the future.

If he's really trying to stay around a million I'm impressed. Really sensible for a kid his age who just got that big of a bag. Also props for looking at places in the city not some McMansion in the burbs

I was terrified of taking amen .

signs look promising so far . Much more advanced than I thought and his athleticism actually plays .

Fantastic time to buy a million dollar house in Houston. Inflation hasn't really caught up to those houses yet.

what's crazy is amen's dribble is not that great and his shot is not that great. this is probably the worst he will be.

I was excited about Amen when we drafted him, and he's still more advanced than I thought. He is definitely a true pg, has crazy physical traits, and high bball IQ. His growth potential has impressed me, he already has gone from poor shooter/ ball handler to not great. I think he is ready for NBA playing time immediately.

Initially I wanted Wemby or Scoot, but after seeing more from the Thompson twins, I am not disappointed. I think Amen has just as good PG skills, IQ, maturity, and leadership as Scoot while also having an advantage in size. Is it crazy that I think all of the top 5 picks could be great, and probably worry most about the 1 guy who went to college out of the group? I think the OTE, GLeague, and International play are better prep for the NBA than college for guys with elite physical traits that want to best hone their skills and get the best training opportunities.

his turnovers looked really bad like he has butterfingers and can’t dribble

hopefully he looks more comfortable in game 2

Was clearly nervous and playing too fast. Whole team looked terrible most of the game though to be fair.

Amen's handle makes me real nervous. i didnt like the way he was dribbling in preseason. I cant believe he is a PG with the way he is dribbling. prove me wrong please. amen.

maybe we should have taught Ausar how to be a PG.

He'll have to be a secondary playmaker until he tightens his handles

I think he'll look a lot better game 2 just on the fact that he's already played against this same Spurs team twice now.

If you listen to rookies its the speed of the game that always shocks them so hopefully he gets that out of his system and they should probably definitely simplify things for him. I get that eventually we want him to run point but man I think we could use him a lot like Detroit used his brother, defense, hustle, basically the Tari Eason role.
