I disagree. A legend is something that happened once. A play. Like the Chas McCormick catch last year is legendary. It’s part of the larger story. Jose Altuve is a Houston icon. It’s him and Hakeem. As much love as I have for Biggio and Bagwell, they didn’t give us what Altuve has. Start the statue in front of MMP now.
there was a kid in banana suit behind homebase in game 4 and he was pretty animated trying to be a distraction. i didn't see him anywhere in this game tho. if i remember correctly, i don't think he's even from the the DFW area.
if the backs make it to the WS, they are not getting swept lol. that team is lowkey much better than people have given them credit for.
Basically how I looked on our security camera ...I watched my madness and my 3 year old daughter's reaction lol
Two inning saves are extremely tough (especially in the playoffs). Now throw in coming into the game after what went down the 8th. Got to give Pressly HUGE props!!
I was at that game, moved behind the Crawford Boxes in the concourse to witness my team going to the World Series. I got a good view of one of the most monstrous HRs ever hit in that park (left center field). I could not believe what I witnessed. It started the slide for Lidge (lost game 1 of the WS) that he could not recover from before making a remarkable resurgence with the Phillies and became a legend with them.
I was at Sawyer Park in Spring. It reminded me of being in the concourse with my SRO tickets for game 5 in the 2017 WS. Everyone went absolutely wild and I was high 5ing random people.
Man, Singleton is so damn boring- He better shape up and fly right. You stand at attention when your Captain talks to you.
