We were gonna have to win at home at least once but one more inning to comeback. Let’s ****ing do this!

 

Crazy we gotta hold our breaths and hope for a ball when the baseball is six inches off the plate because of this dumbass ump crew

 

Also this is a poor reflection on MLB if these umps made the ALCS. It's sad if this is the best they have to offer.

 

This and it forces our batters to swing at those balls because they're going to call them strikes either way. Fire them all. They'll just get more post season games next year.

If we don’t get this one that’ll suck but small mission accomplished to go up and get 2 of 3 and force it to six which a lot thought we couldn’t do. I’m betting and hoping that our experience pulls us through and we pick ourselves up at home.

I blame Altuve’s bunt

 

You can't put it all on the ump, but it's completely inexcusable to me that in a game this big, we can't have a system that allows us to accurately call balls and strikes in 2023. So many horrible calls on both sides, but there have been some really awful calls go against the Astros in really key situations tonight. We need an electronic strike zone. This is killing the sport.

 

We would have so many more men on base of the umps were calling balls correctly.

 

So Uncle Mike could pop out to the pitchers mound.,

 

It isn't the best they have to offer. They know the ump rankings before they assign them. Not sure exactly how that all works but they knew they weren't putting their best out there

 

Should have been a walk. The whole crew should be fired after the game

Then he calls the same pitch a ball twice after. Just incompetent stuff

 

I am almost ready to blame this game on the umpires.

 

Brantley batting there was one round of the batting order too late. And not having Diaz catch here (so he feels comfortable in the game before he pinch hits for Maldy) is not the way I would have done it.

So many missed opportunities this game and I'm ashamed to say that I don't like the bottom of our order coming up in the 9th. Hopefully Altuve can put on a show.
