    Monty was pitching a gem and he was taken out. We have an elite bullpen with a day off tomorrow.
    The Verlander brand is too big to remove from the game I suppose.

    It hasn't stung as bad since we won the last two but the ump crew has maybe been the worst I've ever seen behind the plate collectively.

    He should have had Neris going after the single if he wasn't already. Not saying he necessarily should have had someone going at the start, but honestly given Verlander's age, the closeness of the game and that the heart of the order was up, I don't think that's an unreasonable suggestion.
