No offense but you don't know Harden personally so you saying what Harden could care less about is just bold face lying. This is just a remark of hate. Any team he's on, goes to the playoffs and he can make the scrubbiest scrub look like a solid player even a star sometimes, and your young people see that and learn. The issues Harden has had on his teams have nothing to do with fun. So if you ignore all context and listen to the media who is currently ignoring that his mother is sick as to the reason why he's not currently with the sixers, I guess youre right lol If you want to go by made up narratives. Harden has a really high bbiq. Yes he fails in certain playoff games but he is still one heck of a basketball player. And he was right. He was right about SIlas, he was right about Kyrie and he's right about Morey.

 

Watching tape is very far from learning from a star. Jalen learned so much from Schroder being on the team and he isnt even a star. Look how OKC played with Chris Paul certain high bbiq players are perfect for young players. Its just that the narratives around Harden make people feel like he wouldn't be a good choice when he actually would. Most of the narratives around Harden are false.

Im not living in any sort of past. The things I said are relevant today. He is on the same team with Maxey currently and you can see in his game what he learned form Harden and Harden never misses the playoffs and he led the league in assists just last season. You should be sorry with the poor basketball knowledge you're displaying here lol

Let's not forget that Harden literally talked himself out of a max deal with us by saying he wanted to go back to playing the same way he did last time and chasing scoring titles. None of our players would grow into anything standing still whilst the Beard went on his iso comeback tour. And Harden is 100% my second favourite basketball player of all time before anybody calls me a hater.

 

James Harden's old self led the league in assists to and I think he is a better option than fred and can teach the young guys more than fred. I'm usually right I cant wait til half way through the season when you guys are pissed at fred chucking the ball and inefficiency lol

 

Could have been worse - could have drafted Mobley and then we would have to rely on Jabari to be our primary creator on this roster. We would have been decent defensively, but who wants to watch games where we struggle to score 85+?

Harden leading the league in assists isn't convincing me of anything. I know exactly what that means and how Harden’s egocentric, iso-centric play style is. I get it. You're confused because you allowed his passing abilities and stats to convince you that Harden is unselfish. You know what's unselfish? Curry making a pass early in the shot clock and sprinting towards the rim because he understands his gravity will pull defenders and his movement will create opportunity for openings.

As a person who believes Harden is a top 5 Rocket of all time and am grateful for his time here, he is the exact opposite of what this team needs.

I know exactly what's going to happen too, when we miss the play-in this season you're going to feel validated because maybe Harden would've gotten us there. The fact is, our team is now built around our young guys stepping up into lead roles and not just standing around watching one man create everything. This is going to be a harder way but more potential for a massive payoff. I've been feeling this way the second I heard Rockets were interested in Harden and Ime seems to agree with me.

At one point I was a "harden hater" "jalen only fan" "sengun only fan" "harden only fan" here only of course because i dared to tell the truth about Harden wanting to leave and jalens stats actually meaning he is on the right track and sengun being one of the best post players in the league and his defense not as bad as you peopel make it out to be. Now Im a nuthugger because I dared to tell the truth about how much he would help this team grow lol It goes to show how the mind works here. Im not held back by personal bias which is the driving force of 90% of the posts on this silly board lol Ive said before the only reason I come back is because its entertaining to see what you guys will say next lol From losing your minds over preseason games and defending racists and domestic abusers to the homophobia and complete lack of basketball knowledge its entertaining here to say the least.

The trolls on the site have been rampant for the past 10 years from what I hear. Anyone who has checked out the political posts knows this place is a cesspool. There arent even any admin that regulate the place. A lot of the negativity about players came from here and went straight to the media. It helped foster the Harden hate because the entire time he was in Houston half the fans on clutchfans hated him check some of the old posts its great reading. A bunch of whiney fare weather fans who have been having flame wars and versus fights for decades now. Any leak from the Rockets comes from this site because most of the fans here hate most of the players most of the time lol
