I see they have him listed at 247 which I think is generous. He sure looks light in the pants and tall which is a bad combo for trench warfare. Its a free look though so maybe DeMeco can make it work.
I wanted the Texans to get him see if demeco can mold him and Matt burke has info on him as well from time in Arizona
No idea. Don't know anything about him. Was just wondering if he had been hurt. If not, then I'm happy to get another player. Can't hurt.
https://www.revengeofthebirds.com/2...na-cardinals-cut-myjai-sanders-2022-nfl-draft This says he wouldn't have made it out of camp had he not been injured as he is a bad fit for a new scheme. He remained on the roster, but didn't play because of a thumb injury. This is a zero risk, possible reward move.
Too many player jumped over him on their depth chart while he was out with a thumb injury. A football version of Wally Pip. In looking back and he was drafted early 3rd after being projected at 5-6 so perhaps a reach. I hope The Texans see something and he proves the Texans right.
I don't know what is involved in a claim in the NFL. Are we responsible for his rookie Contract? Do we retain his Rookie Contract or is that the responsibility of Arizona? If I understand it, as a 3rd rounder, its a 4 year contract and he's in his 2nd year.
We have a bit of an inside perspective, as our defensive coordinator was his defensive line coach last year. That gives me hope.
