    @ROXRAN

    Where's the Pride Parade in Gaza?

    Surely, the Hamas would have a big parade to celebrate this cause they are all dudes who hate women

    I'm not sure what news you guys were reading. Beyond the explosive headlines that can easily lead to confusion if one doesn't read beyond them, what I read was that it's not yet clear what happened. Gazan health authorities blame it on an Israeli airstrike. An Israeli military spokesman wasn't sure initially and later blamed a Palestinian armed group.

    Here's an idea to prevent confusion: The media should refrain from reporting breaking news until at least one day has passed. I think many people will perceive this as censorship, though.

    ps. Wasn't serous about the suggestion. I hate breaking headlines and have no idea how you solve the perception problem.

    Much more likely is that they went on the information they had available, and then corrected it as more information became available. None of that is proof of an intent to intentionally mislead.

    Yes, that Xweet shows that.

    I think we can guess what your analysis of that nonsense says about you.

    First part of that video is fake - I've heard that sound track used on other videos - and you can see there is no protest.

    It should also be kept in mind that 40% of Penn's student body is Jewish (I know because I went there) so the idea that you can have a chant for Jewish Genocide on Locust Walk is absolute garbage.

    So Dem members of congress are still repeating false terrorist propaganda correct? I know congress is a bunch of scumbags but at what point is that frowned upon?

    Very likely given that the volume levels or lack there of anything else in the video.

    you must’ve missed the Penn president’s initial statement, and the subsequent alumni donor exodus.

    but perhaps you didn’t graduate, nor do you donate.

    Perhaps you didn't graduate. Both things could be true. The audio could be fake and they still could have actually called for genocide. The audio has likely been altered based on the volume levels.

    Of course without knowing the source for the audio and whatever, we can't know for sure. But if the source is the same as the video and not separated and using the phone's microphone, it is a strange sound mix going on with it.
