I have that feeling too of low expectation, but until we lose 4, we are still in it. We will have an Astros that is going be our Mario Elie. Last year was Chaz. Regardless, 7 straight can't be taken away and that is 1 more banner for MMP.
This is another time I wish we had Correa. If any Stro could deliver the kiss of death to the other teams bench I can see it being Correa. I take that back, I can see Nerris doing it but I don't want to see him involved in a walk off play.
I give the current chances at about 20% If they manage to win today those go up to 40%. A loss today and the chances go below 10% Let's hope they decide not to tempt fate. IMO if they can manage to get it back to 2-2 the Rangers will crumble.
Back in the early 90s I was a struggling young husband and father and worked a 2nd job for a temp service. One of the common jobs was serving concessions out of a trailer at Kennedy Space Center during shuttle launches. During 1 launch, Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, and Gary Sinese waited in line and just walked up. They bought 3 hot chocolates and some cookies. We were not allowed to accept tips, but when they paid us later, each of us (18 employees) got a $100 bonus and I later learned it was from them. Everyone around was respectful and polite (it was a designated VIP area) and they just acted like appreciative nice guys when people commented on how much they loved them and how lucky they felt to see/meet them. They were in town doing research for the movie
O.K., here is my fantasy scenario: Javier pitches a gem tonight, bats come alive, Astros win. Urquidy. is on fire in game four, Astros win by one run, series tied. I roll out Verlander who pitches a gem, Astros win 2-0, up 3-2. Go to Houston after a day off, roll out Javier again, win series.
