Her lawyers cautioned her to say nothing right off the bat, ......and they were the ones challenging the neck injury.....she might have slipped something to an officer The prosecutors were eager and aggressive with the broken vertebra.
In order to believe what she is saying now, you'd have to believe the cops were called because of a 10 second "thing" between her and kpj. The reports about him being upset he was locked out of the room, him attacking her and her escaping out of the room were completely made up. There was no laceration caused by him. The cops got there and with no statements about the attack from herself and no visible injuries they decided to arrest kpj. Then, just because, they took her in for an examination in which they just randomly picked her neck and she let them examine her neck even though she didnt know why she was there since nothing happened. And with no physical evidence, no witnesses, no statements from anyone regarding an attack they decided to bring multiple felony charges. And then her sister, instead of speaking with her directly, just followed the reports like everyone else and publicly went after kpj. And now they are no longer together because of a 10 second "thing" and a big misunderstanding. Yeah, ok.
Yep, that’s about it. You can also add what her lawyer said, "It was too traumatized and exaggerated because of who he is, but she’s not minimizing what happened," Hantman added. So, Kysre, what didnt you want to minimize back then, but are minimizing now?
She'd tell in 2 or 10 years, I am not too worried about her.......she is not some 18 year old that was charmed and lured somewhere. Shoving John Lucas and throwing things at him is enough for me to know KPJ should not be in this league. Athletes grow up much more rapidly than the regular Joe, 23 y is like 25 in the regular world. A lot of players that have a tad less talent but are much harder workers than KPJ are deserving of that opportunity.
I still find performative outrage somewhat hilarious, I get that many people were misled by the initial reporting being exaggerated, but the fact that this thread is still going is just weird. The guy hit his GF and as a result he's off the team, completely just outcome....but the foaming at the mouth over this incident seems somewhat disproportional....and that's because it's performative. Objectively what DeShaun Watson did was 1000 times worse than what KPJ did.....but the reaction was nowhere near the same.....wonder why that is? Is it that story didn't push the personal sports agendas of certain people? Legitimate question. Why do the performative outrage types completely ignore some incidents while indulging in an unhealthy obsession with others? For me, it's not a Rockets story anymore, so I don't give a ****, but I'm sure years from now the same people will be whinging about it.....I know this, because I happen to have personal experience with those types of losers.
Basically this should been moved to NBA Dish but I get that the Mods are busy with ramping up for the season. I rarely watch Football, so there is that for me, I know who DeShaun is but I have never followed him.
I don't see why not, at the time The Rockets were centered around KPJ and Green.... Udoka must have brought in his plans to make KPJ and co successful and that's why The Rockets hired him. KPJ was the only player there for Udoka's introductory press conference. It looked like KPJ was really excited to play with this new look Rockets.
White Knights now give way to Magnum PI's as people pretend to know what happened. Hopefully the victory laps from the Know Ball Crew will subside when the season starts and they can move on to pretending to know how to coach and manage an NBA team or even better gaze into their crystal balls and let everyone know who the next criminal on the team will be. We need some odds on the next whipping boy!
I was wondering why this thread is still going. Low and behold his biggest nut riders are still on their knees
No, she never made a statement - she didn't call 911 - I suspect the police wrote a report on what they thought happened, with 0 witnesses, and now she is coming out and refuting what is in that report - either because it isn't true, or she wants a settlement or both. It will be VERY hard knowing what she said now, for the DA to get any conviction at all - my educated guess is this is completely dropped or dismissed.....or it is pleaded down to a misdemeanor at worse - and there is no trial, no jailtime and KPJ may get a minor suspension. It blew up because of his past - that is the TMZ world we live in, social media amplifies and usually gets it wrong. DD
According to a criminal complaint, Gondrezick told police that Porter punched her repeatedly in the face with a closed fist, causing an inches-long gash above the right eye, bruising and substantial pain to her face. Gondrezick, 26, said Porter also wrapped his hands around her neck and strangled her, causing her to have difficulty breathing, redness and bruising to her neck, and loss of motion to her left arm. Police were called to the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza at 6:45 a.m., police said. Officers saw “a 26-year-old female with a laceration to the right side of her face,” police said. A preliminary investigation determined that a person, later identified as Bryan Kevin Porter Jr., “struck her multiple times about the body and placed his hands around her neck,” police said. The incident began after both Porter and his girlfriend had been out, the sources said. She later returned to the hotel room, and he got locked out. That's when the incident escalated, and hotel security alerted police. I can’t even walk without the assistance of police but believe me, he did nothing! You have it all wrong! *If this is her, if this video is real…
Yet you do still give him the benefit of the doubt. She who went all in on the toxic relationship knew pretty well what she was getting into.
