We got zero justice out of 9/11 lol. All we got were wars that cost the lives of 100s of thousands of civilians. Joe Biden labeling it as "some mistakes along the way" is the same nonchalant way IDF claims they "whoopsied" their way to kill green times more civilians than Hamas. Biden is in a lose lose situation in that he as a president of this country cannot express the reality of America's war crimes as nothing more than "some mistakes" rather a horrendous total failure at a moral and tactical level that only benefited defense contract shareholders. ya he's the president of the US. He has a limited scope of what he can say before the establishment eats him alive. I don't think there is any Arab leader who would meet with any US president at the moment. The "Palestinian Cause" has long been the emir/king/prince/president-for-life's bone to throw to the masses when things heat up and they're not going to roil up their populace by meeting with Biden as he's publicly-embracing Israel. It's a short-term calculation. I'd say the long-term still favors normalized relations with Israel (for countries like KSA) because what matters to them is economic growth.

This is supposed to be a video of the impact. Doesn't look like an air burst. Explosion comes up off the ground if you pause the video at 2-3 seconds. Also, this isn't the ideal situation for an airburst bomb. In a desert against a large number of infantry/vehicles would be the time for that. This video also doesn't appear to be an air burst explosion. Impact is at 21 seconds. Here is an airburst bomb detonation.
The United States military killed Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind 911. This brought some sense of justice and closure for many Americans affected by 9/11. I read that as him diplomatically and directly warning Israel not to repeat the US's mistake of going gung-ho and hot into military actions without a concrete plan and thinking through how this will play out and the end games. It's a very good message. Israel needs to have a solid plan. Just "taking down Hamas" isn't it. They might already have one, or they might be building one on-the-fly. But whatever the case, with so much on the line, they need to have a strategy and a plan more than just 'revenge'.
The US handling of 9/11, especially at the international level was a disaster. I think it is hard to argue otherwise. I have not met many people, be they vets or those that were living in Iraq at the time that view the outcome as even neutral. Below you spell out why he worded it this way - which is actually a lot better than how it would have been described even a few years ago by those in power. Several two-star generals have said they asked the then administration what the plan was after they removed Hussein and they refused to discuss it or ask for any suggestions - the sense they got was that there WAS no plan. That doesn't even get into Afghanistan. He doesn't have the popularity to call it what it was - a colossal **** up that no one in the US was ever held accountable for.
