Oh my goodness. Filthy isn't the word, I need something better. That dunk made people pray and cover children's eyes.
Omg. I'm just getting home. Did they challenge that call? The defender was back peddling, scared shitless.
Nah. Probably would of it was a regular season game. Shame it doesn't count. Most people who saw it don't care if it didn't count. What mattered is that he showed the ability to do something that spectacular.
Cam is a chucker. I don’t see him having a major role in a Udoka coached team unless he plays differently in the regular season.
He has undoubtedly a lot of talent but I don't recall the last Rocket that had tunnel vision this serious. He needs a lot of time in the G-League, and I hope the Rockets make it clear to him that he won't be working on scoring at all when he is there. He just needs to focus entirely on making passes and creating for others.
Sending Cam to the G League would be a waste of time. Spot minutes at the end of rotation would be more beneficial. 5-15 per game. Let him play his way up. Y’all should’ve learned from Nix, Garuba, TyTy and JC that the G-League isn’t conducive for NBA development unless you’re substituting it for college experience.
Hell be fine this year as long as he sticks to a defined role for the regular season. If he sticks to basically a "more skilled KJ Martin" role he'll be good. Let the offense naturally come to you from Sengun, FVV, Green, Amen etc. and be aggressive on D.
Josh Christopher's tunnel vision is bad, but Cam is even worse. For the sake of comparison, last pre-season, Christopher averaged 3 assists and 11 shots in 21 minutes. Whitmore is averaging 11 shots, 0.3 assists in 17 minutes. In fact, Whitmore is 8th in the team in minutes, but 1st in the team in shot attempts. Again, he is an incredible talent, but this is likely one of the major reasons why he dropped so much in the draft.
You really can't just shoot Everytime the ball is passed to you, that will get you out of the league unless you are Klay Thompson or something
