We've built our program on speed. It got us to where we are today. When we've had size at WR for example, we've sucked. When we've had speed, we found success. Big 12 is a different beast, but I would like to see us get back to that rather than to have second tier size and talent. We know we can recruit track stars at CB, LB, RB, and WR and do it at an elite level. Not sure how that will play out over a full season against the conference, but I would like to find out. It was in our culture, but we don't have it right now. So next coach will be who-ever, but refocus on that we do well.
Tbh I don't think I've ever seen a Thursday/weekday game at UH that wasn't a total ghost town. Even during the good years. I'm worried the crowd may be sub 25k.
That tends to happen when you go 21-3 prior to that and then face a top 5 team. Meanwhile, a year later vs. #25 Memphis at home on a Thursday night.... crickets. Don't be fooled by the numbers, either. There were NOT 30K people there.
I hate Thuirsday night games because its a b**** to get there with traffic. I usually arrive 30-45 mins before kickoff and tonight I got there after the game started.
That would be quite a moment for college football. Unfortunately, this is the worst possible year for UH to play UT. We’re atypically strong and UH seems like it’s in a lull. Still, that would be quite a moment for coog fans if the team pulls it off.
We would have had a puncher's chance against UT had they roflstomped OU. Now they're gonna love us prison style. It won't be pretty.
Shocked how empty the stadium was for West Virginia But it’s going to be very orange this weekend @Brando2101
