If Sengun don't show up Wednesday, I think the Rockets need to start looking for a legit center.

Anytime a coach has to pull you from the game to reinforce confidence in you because you were clearly getting beat on both sides of the ball, you are not ready!

Cam is a ball-hog
We took a lot of forced shots from ISO - That's on Ime. We need more movement and off-the-ball screens. Looked sloppy.
Not sure what Jabari does good.
Amen looks good! Team player, good handle and hops and good passer.
Sengun didn't look good.
How can you not hit free throws as a professional in the NBA (Jabari)?

I can't get over Bullock starting over Amen. That's a silas move

 

The problem right now is we can't even take a look at Landale since he's playing hurt. Jabari doesn't have the physique yet to bang low and grab rebounds when Sengun's not able to stop people in the paint. We're left with nobody to help slow down the bleed. It's a credit to the Rockets they were still in this game despite how badly most of the team played. Then when everybody went to the end of the bench, we came back and won, which isn't necessarily anything to crow about, but a win is a win even in pre-season, I guess.

 

Brooks won't last 3 minutes. Hell, he may get t'ed up twice before the game starts and be escorted out.

Bullock is an established veteran and one of the best shooters in the league.

Supposedly anyway, he's playing like **** so far maybe he is using preseason to get in shape.

 

When you look at the stats it may seem he had a solid game, but he was invisible tonight. Flashbacks of last year's early season Bari.

 

Look at Alpi's scoring efficiency last season with Green off the court vs on the court with him.

 

The starters were all bad. Bench hard carreid tonight

 

Even Mavs fans don't think he is a good shooter.

 

Agreed. The energy wasn't there.

 

Dude's a career 38% from 3 shooter on 4.3 attempts a night.

 

People are already on him, but you can't deny his gravity on offense. Like him or not, Jalen is still our best offensive player.

And you know what's odd. I have no clue why people are on him. What did he do that was atrocious in his first two games? Dude showing a potential Playmaking leap with his limited touches(Udoka wants to try our new things) making advanced passes getting when getting to the rim.

 

I think FVV played ok but yes, the bench carried us.

 

Why did they still cut him? Numbers can't tell all. Ask Christian Wood.
