SL finals team coming for the rescue...keeping our record spotless!

I don't know what happened with Alpi and Bari...but they were awful tonight. Alpi had some good moments just before he was pulled from the court, but Jabari laid a dinosaur egg tonight.

I think Ime already said they're going to have dinner together. Even Boban went over and hugged Pop. But then everybody loves Boban.

It's not really a funk, both him and Jabari just got overwhelmed by length on both ends. It would have been a different story if we had signed Lopez, we really lack height

    My takeaway from this game:

Amen Thompson was just lying when he told reporters he been working on his shot for 3 years. All it took was 2 months to fix his hitch and make him comfortable from the 3 pt line.

Whitmore is also a superstar in the making, doesnt' matter if he shoots bad he'll keep attacking till he makes it. Closed out this game on both ends.

Jabari's shot is also fixed, I don't think he's had a bad shooting game so far.

Bollocks gets an F, he hasn't had a good game yet just horrible on both ends.

Samuels, Hinton, Days Smith are all decent players. RGV gonna roll the competition this year.

Sengun had the worst game of his career and got absolutely manhandled by Collins, I dunno why Collins is so mad at him it was like seeing Dream vs Admiral after Admiral got the MVP.

Sengun is a good player and may even be an all-star one day but I really don't think his skillset fits our team.

We need a rim-running big who can catch lobs, rebound and anchor the defense. Like if we had a young Clint Capela, he'd be a perfect fit on this team.

I recall a monster running one handed dunk that Alpi had over Collins last year. The refs said it was an offensive foul, but Collins still got laid flat on the floor. Guess he's been pissed about it ever since.

Where did this kid come from? Why we can't find a BIG like that?

He’ll be aight, he was just forcing the issue tonight. He also needs to be more physical on the boards. It’s only preseason I think he’ll get in his bag once the season starts and he understands his new teammates’ tendencies

We got the winning formula. Udoka should let the starters get blown out and then bring in the 3rd string guys. Opponent will do the same then bam Rox will steamroll the opponent lol.

He's had is up and down moments, but for the most part looks like a 6th-8th man on this team on most nights. Like I said in a previous post, though, I'm still wary of his ballhandling in traffic, but with him and Cam in together, it's like Flash and Superman racing to the basket on half the plays. Love that he's willing to play defense, too.

Jabari had a decent shooting night it's not that bad. 3/8 from the field not good obviously but not exactly a zero. Sengun was 1/8 and Brooks was 2/8, Whitmore 2/9.

Sengun was bad offensively, but had 3 steals and 2 blocks in just 18 minutes.

Yeah for some reason Collins was taking it personally I saw him jawing at both Sengun and Udoka.

The player formerly known as Jeenathan. He's been playing well in the pre-season and Summer League, if I recall. You'd like to keep guys like him around, but I don't know how many of these guys they can realistically keep. Too many "yeah, he looks decent" players for the end of the bench.
