I'm afeared that was Bregman/Benintendi redux and will be the difference between us competing to the bitter end in this ALCS and bowing out rather feebly (see 2018).

Verlander the greatest pennant pitcher in MLB history.

Falls to 16-6 with an era near 3.

iirc, Luhnow traded for him, let him go in FA, then traded for him again

again, there's gotta be some kind of chocolate syrup voodoo that I am not made familiar with

But me not knowing about it sure doesn't meant it's not real as hell

Yordan sure can go from most feared hitter in baseball to looking lost at plate in a hurry in the playoffs. Finished out game 4 against the Twins with 2 strikeouts at balls in the dirt and followed that up with 3 consecutive strikeouts at balls out of the zone and then a t-ball dribbler to 2nd.

    Regular season
Astros 5.7 runs in road games
Astros 4.5 runs in home games

Poor fans enduring this unacceptable crap.

Pretty sure the pitchers do better with diaz. But this is why it’s the GM’s responsibility to get rid of him at the deadline

    What do the pitchers say?

This was my entire point that you completely glossed over.

Who cares, it’s not relevant enough to think about. What are they gonna do next year if maldy retires? Are they all gonna quit? They’ve thrown to tons of other catchers, having a better catcher isn’t gonna make them forget how to pitch

Dusty retires and Maldonado replaces him as manager.

    Not even kidding.

    Wait, what?

Pitchers don't care about the catchers they pitch to?

Wouldn't matter if you were kidding or not, because you are consistently dumber than a sack of hammers.

Maldy either Bench/Bullpen Coach or Unemployed. The End.

How many catchers has verlander thrown to? 10? 15? More? He seems to do just fine. Like i said, if maldy was gone it’s not like they’d have all quit. Some of them aren’t idiots either, they understand how much he hurts the team

Just woke up to the news. Can’t lie, when I saw no Brantley or Diaz I just thought “no X factor” element to us in the batting. Right there I hoped but didn’t expect.

Might want to look at some info once the cloud comes off your brain...Dubon v Brantley and Maldy v Diaz...vs LHP

Did it work out? **** no, but it was the right move.

There is no “right move” relevance. WHATEVER the reason for not having the lineup, it wasn’t sufficient to expect the job to get done for me. If it was for you that’s absolutely fine.
