It doesn't look like we will be directly involved in the invasion of Gaza. But if another nation attacks Israel, you know we will be dragged in regardless of where our aircraft carriers are stationed. By positioning them nearby, we tell everyone that we will be fighting if Israel is attacked. So it's a deterrent effect. There is no ambiguity about whether another attack on Israel means war with the US. It definitely does. Which is something we already know domestically. I'd prefer to leave Israel to fight it's neighbors alone, but I know that's not happening. So, it's better to be upfront about our intentions.

To be honest I have no idea what Trump might do given his statements critical
Of Netanyahu and praise of Hezbollah. I’m sure if he was president Gen. Milley and others would recommend this move but it doesn’t mean Trump would follow it.

every IDF soldier during peaceful time on quite days has to perform this routine task:

pick random Palestinians house and break their spirit, it boost Israeli security’s goal of keeping Palestinians mentally defeated

since past week, Israel has gone hysterical, needed some assurance, reverse psychology took effects drastically.

US/Western understood that and had to go into full mode support, Israel was not at risk of attack by another force, nor needed any more weapons HOWEVER, they've gone hysterical, headless chicken fireing in all direction which forcing Hezboallah (and Iran) who seemed at the time not interested to join the party

with Russia pushed to the corner, decoupling with China, Westren economy coming crises, Hamas saw a silverlining

Biden’s biggest problem is that he exists.

What the hell are you talking about?

Do you have evidence that IDF troops in their free time break Palestinian houses?

I’m very critical of Israel’s policy of collective punishment but stuff like this is completley unhelpful. It’s the type of rhetoric that just prolongs the cycle of violence.

Biden could personally capture the leader of Hamas and im sure there will still be many in the right who still criticize him.

Its not exactly a well kept secret!
you can choose to look at the other direction if you do not want to search it, though.

found this article interesting, from global perspective, not your typical Dem/Rep lenses

    https://www.voanews.com/a/antisemit...red-internet-after-hamas-attack-/7307404.html

or some Russian prediction of Israel sending drone boat to attack the carrier,so US fights on their behalf ,and spare the precious souls from war risks

He's a gambler who shoots first and deals with the consequences later. The Pentagon will present various suggestions for potential US actions, including some that are quite drastic. He is inclined to favor a more forceful and riskier option, such as focusing on individuals who provide financial support to Hamas from Iran and eliminating them.

Again, what the hell are you taking about?

the link you posted is from Voice of America a U.S. government funded news service and it doesn’t say anything about IDF soldiers
Breaking Palestinian homes in their free time. It is taking about PRC netizens making a lot of antisemitic comments online.

then you pivot to talking about Russia sending drones to attack US carriers.

Is there an actual point to your posts as
It just reads like ramblings just thrown in.

He might but even though he talks very tough he’s shown an inclination to not want to use military force and limit US involvement.

In this case Trump might decide Israel can handle things and wouldn’t want to commit US forces in the region.

To add I don’t think Biden wants US forces directly involved in fighting. These carrier groups are there to send a message to other countries not to get involved.

Trump's actions are driven by his own self-interest and emotions, rather than broader strategic considerations. If he feels slighted by Israel's leaders or media coverage, he may be inclined to withdraw support, regardless of the consequences. Conversely, if Israel flatters or praises him, he may offer military assistance without much forethought. In this case, with American lives lost, Trump may be quick to strike out against whoever he deems responsible to satiate his image of being "strong." His decisions frequently appear capricious but can be somewhat predictable when viewed through the lens of his ego and temperament rather than U.S. interests.
