It's going to be an interesting match up for sure.
If We play like We've played the first two games though, We will smoke them. I'm excited for the Wemby-Jabari match up the most. I think Jabari will go hard at him, both on O and on D.

Miami Heats played bunch of NBA scrubs last night. So far no real defense is played on Wenbayama. I don't think he could be good like Kevin Durant.

 

Let's give "Pray for Victor" a whole new meaning.

 

Its going to be a while before SA knows what they got.

But his ceiling is astronomical.
Yet to be seen whether he can fulfill that potential or not though.
May not know for a couple seasons.

Man i don't know what some of you guys are watching.

Wembanyama was the dominant player in his league by the end of last season.

He came to summer league and it took him ... 1 game.. to get comfortable

He's already been a beast in preseason playing against NBA players.

Also he just . ... is good at basketball.

I don't think there's a surer bet for a rookie to win ROY and put up good numbers both traditional and advanced, due to his defensive impact.

Sure ok, body type, injury risk etc - but as to whether or not he'll be a good NBA player on the court soon - that's about as proven as it can possibly be. He already is.

His timeline to being good is about 10 days, when the regular season starts, not years. That's silly.

I think you quoted the wrong guy because I said nothing about him being merely good.

And as far as him being a beast in PRE-SEASON. Its PRE-SEASON.

 

That is easily translatable ....because nobody can guard him 1 on 1.....has nothing to do with preseason.

If you are talking double or triple teams yeah okay.

I can see Jabari at least trying to contain him because he is otherly motivated.

His 3 pointers are not that good but his midrange seems to be already on point.

 

I am definitely talking about double and triple teams.
Fronting him and every other measure to foul him up also.

Oh, I have no doubt he will be a handful to guard.

What I hope happens is our guys strip him of the ball before he has a chance to shoot it or deny him the ball in the first place.
