I agree with you but we simply cannot allow Hamas to continue on. No response by Israel especially when hostages are held likely leads to more raids like this.

Israel shouldn't be boming Gaza and killing Palestinian children but given what is Gaza and how deep Hamas is dug in there I don't see any other way. Further I don't think there is any political will in the US to restrain Israel.

I'lll say again I have no answers. The whole thing makes me sick thinking about.

I don't think Hamas would agree to that and I doubt Israelis would agree to leaving it up to the other countries to hunt down Hamas. One reason why Israel undertook an assasination campaign against the people behind the Munich Olympic incident and also why Jewish groups hunted Nazis even to this day is because they didn't trust the rest of the World to do it for them.

    Wow - just wow...

Moscow remains in contact with Hamas, Russian deputy foreign minister says

From CNN's Katharina Krebs in London

Moscow is continuing discussions with Hamas about resolving the situation in the Middle East, the Russian foreign ministry said Friday.

“We are in contact with everyone," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told reporters. "We also have access to the Hamas leadership."

Releasing hostages in the Gaza Strip must be resolved "very carefully and painstakingly," Bogdanov said.

According to Bogdanov, Russian representatives intend to visit the Middle East as part of their efforts to resolve the crisis.

Bogdanov also called Israel's call for the evacuation of civilians from northern Gaza a "violation of human rights."

"This is not an evacuation, this is an eviction from their homes, from the places where they have lived all their lives," Bogdanov said.
The Russian official also said Moscow opposes the "Israeli occupation" of the Gaza Strip in the event of a possible Israeli ground operation.

"We are against occupation. There is a UN Security Council resolution that, in principle, the basis of peace and security is land in exchange for peace. Normalization in exchange for Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories," he told reporters.
    Some context on Russia's response:
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday urged both sides in the fighting between Israel and Hamas to "minimize or reduce to zero" civilian casualties. His comments came as he continues a ruthless war campaign against Ukraine and is being investigated by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. That case includes, among other things, allegations of targeting civilians.

Commentators on Russian state TV have mocked the US and Israel after the Hamas attack, and Putin has framed the brutal assault as a failure of US policy in the Middle East.

Russia has been growing its ties with Iran during Moscow's war on Ukraine, including by using Tehran-supplied drones against Kyiv's forces. Iran is a longtime ally of Hamas, though it has denied involvement in the latest attacks on Israel.

Russian victims of Hamas: Currently there is no information about the Russian citizens who went missing following the Hamas attacks last week, the Kremlin said Friday.

Earlier in the week, at least two Russian citizens were confirmed to have been killed in the attack by Hamas on Saturday, Russian Ambassador Anatoly Viktorov said on Russian television. The number of Russians killed continues to grow, the Russian Embassy in Israel said, without specifying an exact number.

I'm sure Putin sees this as a benefit to him. This takes attention off of Ukraine, it leads to US aid that could've gone to Ukraine being diverted to Israel.

It gives him a high horse to take as someone being above the fray.

There is so much disinformation being put out there, just asking for evidence for something that even ISRAELI OFFICIALS refused to confirm seems fair.

It appears to have flown right over the head of these two people agreeing with each other that the point was not to produce an authentically fake sign, but to make a humorous point.

    Goodness.

Can't believe this needs to be explained.
