Of all the players on the roster, which player can we afford NOT to lose? I would say its Jabari. He has really stepped up his game and it started in Summer League. He looks like a total different player since last yr.
Jabari. Hes the most important and dynamic of our players in terms of versatility. How he plays for us will the most important indication of how well this team performs
We need to keep all of them. None of them are redundant with each other and each one brings something unique to the table.
Lay out their contract numbers when they are nearing their prime........that is the important thing. Saying this without even winning a Playoff series, I am not sure that is wise. This sort of question will normally be asked when: The team is a contender. You are about to trade for an older super star player. Who is most expendable, who is not playing a big enough role in this system. Sometimes that would get solved when a player is demanding to go somewhere else.
Hard decisions could only be made by professionals, not by fans. Once 4 players who have star potential and you can only give 3 enough touches, 1 will go.....that is just normality. Unless he is happy to oblige and has no ambition to carry a team. Jabari seems to be a good starting point, he got all the tools and he is tall af. At least you could say, we have a hierarchy now. We have a plan going forward instead of just sitting in the dark.
Amen Thompson BTW seems to be the guy that could be viewed as a complimentary piece as he is not a high end scorer but a triple double threat. The least scorer out of those 5. Those normally can be talked into some sort of special deal. 2x Super Maxes 2x Maxes Tari is at least going to see 28 million at some point.
