It’s good to see Jabari look so much more comfortable with the ball. I remember last year he looked so robotic and stiff handling the ball. You can tell he worked hard on that this season. His shot no longer looks flat either. I’m excited to see Jabari excel this season.
I continue to believe regardless if he’s the best player, he’ll be the highest paid player when the market has the ability to assess his value. What he’s highly likely to be able to do at his size, and length is the most valuable set of skills that NBA teams need. Look at Al Horford who is not nearly as talented of a shooter, and ball handler as Jabari projects to be. Horford is like 55 years old and still is getting paid a premium. If Bosh didn’t have health issues he’d still be on a max contract.
The kid looks like he has made the jump. Super excited to see what he and Alp can do at the 4&5 together. They compliment each other perfectly
It's certainly looking like that might be the case. He's looking night and day better than last season.
you love to see it. Kids that actually want to get better making strides year after year. something that isn't actually common in the nba Year 2 loading for Bari is going to be great to track.
I didn’t think he had a choice. That’s an alley-oop if he doesn’t fall back, since Jabari’s pick for Green worked.
Good content. Great insight, he just needs to be a bit more succinct. Good comps for Jabari. I was thinking "Rasheed Wallace" from the get-go, but he looks now more Bosh-ish... I liked his Play of the Game. You get where we can get hope for the season, the ingredients in this play were ON. Green's off-ball movement, which is key. Sengun and Fred making the right decision with the pass, (like Alpi not trying the risky HR pass to Jalen, but giving it back to Fred), Jabari knocking it down. These actions could be bread-and-butter for our O.
Imagine if you gave 19 year old rookies who have the unfortunate luck to have your mental midget out there playing the role of head honcho, with a historically bad coach on a team designed to tank, more than half a season to improve. SMH
I felt like all he had to do was shade Green a little bit to discourage the pass, he didn't have to go that deep and lose the chance to recover.
