Or if Beltran ran it back one more season. Guess those frustrating years crawled so the golden era could run ha.

Go see that Taylor Swift concert movie. That should be equally stressful to watching playoff baseball.

Which Former Astro would you want on this Team? Roy Oswalt[/QUOTE]

    Oswalt is a great choice.

    I am stuck between:

Jose Cruz. was Brantley before Brantley but with speed.

Billy Wagner. Imagine him added to Pressly, Abreu, and Neris?

I think the rotation depth is the weakness of this team though, so I would pick Oswalt #1 especially with his proven playoff moxie.

Rangers fans are about to find out to see what an elite team in October looks like. The Astros and our fans have reached exit velocity; there's no scenario too big, no team to invoke more fear, no fanbase that can top the atmospheres we've experienced since 2017. They played their version of exceptional baseball all year and it wasn't enough to knock us off the top of the division. Our food is better, our women are hotter, our windows more tinted. I hope Altuve or some leader in that clubhouse stands in front of the team on Sunday and reminds everyone of the disrespect, the tone-deafness, and the absolute lack of class they showed us after hurricane Harvey. I sure as hell haven't forgotten, and I want a sweep.

The choices for pitching are enormous.

Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, Roy Oswalt and JR Richard from one generation. Andy Pettitte and Roger Clemens just afterward. But let's not forget Dierker was a top notch pitcher before he was a broadcaster or manager. Don Notabart was before my time, but those who saw him recall him being great. Don Wilson's tragic end should not prevent his skill as a Pitcher. And someone will bring up Relievers and as a group, Lidge Dotel and Wagner were just on another level.

Apparently worry about South Oklahoma losing it's edge because it had three days off.
