Scalise > Jordan, plus another Trump loss.

I've always wondered if Scalise could, somewhere in there, better realize the costs of extreme rhetoric, given that he was once shot by a political extremist. But I won't get my hopes up. He still won't admit the reality of 2020, for instance.

Scalise literally compared himself to David Duke

Okay. We'll put that in his greatest hits, I guess.

Doesn't change my view of what I posted. Better than Gym. Low bar. etc.

The gop is fractured, there are hurt feelings on all fronts and they cannot seem to come together as a party. You have the extremists and moderates and they have different visions and the extremists who are willing to burn it all down to make a point cannot become the ruling party, as much crap as I give them there are some very capable and sincere members like Buck and I don't think they will allow the gaetz and MTG of the world take over the party. I am not sure how soon they can compromise but I have a feeling it will take the rest of the week at a minimum.......Boobert, Gaetz and MTG seem like they won't vote for anything that goes against trump, they want a shutdown because they think it will look bad for Biden, when in reality it will hurt real Americans and I can't get down with that, they have very few options to cause a stir and this is the big one so I don't see them backing down. I was disappointed that either candidate would not say the 2020 election was NOT rigged, I expected that from Gym as he is an ass kisser to trump, and I dont really know anything about the other guy but if your 2 top candidates cant even say that the election wasn't rigged then that's what they will push as an agenda and IMO that's F`d up beyond politics. They want to unify the country and they cant even unify themselves.............I have no idea how Nancy kept the Dems in line for so many years and never had this issue, but this is where the gop is, trump has broken them and they have a simple solution.........but they are too afraid of the cult leader to do anything

mace is definitely trying to get trump's attention. Yesterday with the tight t-shirt with the red letter for adulterer on it, and today's cleavage. All while touting gym jordan (trump's choice).

Since mace ducked the previous day's question about gym jordan's sordid past, she now gives it a hand wave with "they were adults and just rumors...". ANd loved her idea that gym jordan would bring the two parties together...

Oops... let me guess, that guy attended a white supremacy conference and compared himself to David Duke was OK when she was running for office and needed his endorsement?

Probably the only lesson he took was to get better security. Both of these guys are garbage.

I would think the republicans would start thinking about a moderate that might get Democrat support before five moderates in the gop start thinking about supporting Jeffries...
