Why does it matter to Israel if everyone supports Hamas in Gaza? All Israel cares about is who is in power in Gaza. Not everyone in Afghanistan supported Bin Laden and Al Qaeda but the US invaded anyway.

I understand that Counties that have terrorist organizations are not supported by everyone in the country. That didn't stop the US from invading Afghanistan after 9/11.

What i am pointing out right now is that there are people like u and around the world justifying, supporting Israel committing war crimes bc they ignorantly can't differentiate between Palestine and Hamas as two different things. While there are religious folks like ATW and others on here who blindly support Israel and view muslims in a negative light. They whole heartedly agree with Israel's decision to commit war crimes on Palestine while attempting to claim the moral high ground. They could give two fks if Palestine and Hamas are not the same. Both groups supporting Israel without having any sort of empathy for the innocent Palestines who are suffering from Israel's decision to raze Gaza to the ground.

The Nazis didn't represent all Germans either. But they were in control, and they attacked neighboring countries and killed Jews because of their religion. The only way to stop them from continuing was to fight all of Germany. It was impossible to get rid of the Nazis without fighting all of Germany, because the Nazis controlled Germany. Same situation with Hamas today. They control Gaza. It's impossible for Israel to fight Hamas without collateral casualties. That's on Hamas, just like it was on the Nazis when the allied forces killed Germans.
Nazis represented a large chunk of Germans, mainly small business owners and upper middle class families along with the wealthy Aryan elite. For many of the small business owners their motivation was "at least they ain't commies".
This is not complicated. Hamas tried to attacked Jews in Israel, Israel will try to attack Hamas in Palestine. innocent people will be killed during this war just like every war.
Israelis can have room to express their grief by murdering civilians, Palestine can't. That's basically what you are saying.
Hamas attacked Israel in a terrorist attack killing innocent folks. Israel attacked Gaza killing innocent folks + terrorists and committed war crimes right after declaring war as retaliation. Two different things. But same result with innocent folks dying.

But, I want to call out this line: One of the benefits of living in a Western country is that we can say things like this without fear of reprisal like those in Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. I don't think you can discuss the Israel/Palestinian problem without critiquing the fact that both sides begin their arguments with an unprovable and unmovable position: this land is mine because God says so. How are you ever supposed to find common ground when your religion commands you to act in opposition to the other?
You are not addressing what I said - Hamas controls Gaza. They use Gaza as the base from which they launch their hateful attacks. Israel tries to save civilian life while Hamas, who control Gaza, target civilian life, behead babies, rape women, murder peaceful festival goers, burn people alive. Israel cannot fight Hamas without attacking Gaza, because Hamas controls Gaza. Just like those who liberated Germany from the Nazis could not fight the Nazis without bombing Germany.
