Did we not learn any lessons about electing people to the office of the presidency that don't have any experience?

 

I think she's not a lock. Probably foremost because she's not a politician and doesn't want the pressure-cooker we put our presidential candidates in. If she ran, she'd get racist crap, misogynist crap, questions about her lack of political experience, Barack baggage, her kids would get dragged into it, all before you even get to policy stuff and the events of a campaign. You have to really love this stuff or be a complete narcissist to excel in that environment.

As for who I want to replace Joe, nobody. It's really hard to get the right combo of traits to produce a candidate that can win. Joe already managed to win once, and now he has an inside track for doing it again - he has incumbency, and he has some good policy wins to point at. I give no ***** that he's old. Aside from being old, he checks all the boxes to win. I'd much sooner take that handicap over a person without campaigning experience, or a person without political experience, or a person without name recognition, or a person with a divisive political reputation.

I doubt Joe makes any change, but the candidacy to be reconsidering is Kamala Harris. I'm fine with her, but she and Biden have done a poor job of marketing her as a worthy successor. If they had, his age would have been less of a liability to the ticket.

 

She probably doesn't have any baggage and she is a decent speaker. Why not?

 

Michelle would be ok, but only if she could somehow have learned from the lackluster. but stylistically slick, presidency of her husband which contributed to the rise of Trump.

Because she has 0 interest in politics.
