It's simple: Those who publicly toss around homophobic insults desperately want to make sure everyone knows how absolutely, unquestionably, 100% without a doubt NOT gay they are.

Gotta wonder who it is they're really trying to convince.

    My take aways:
    - FVV's influence was immediately noticeable, great feeling about him.
    - Jalen Green looked solid offensively, a bit better maybe.
    - Jabari with the ball in his hands is not so scary anymore, his confidence is warranted and he looked strong on both sides of the ball
    - Sengun was his usual self, didn't see anything to make any sort of statement on growth, he's always been this guy.
    - Dillon Brooks was just as I expected: solid defensively, but still a delusional, self absorbed guy who does stupid things to put himself in these situations. It was not a flagrant 2, but don't give me that **** that it was not intentional. I trust Ime, he's done a lot of good, but pushing for Brooks is just not one I can get behind unless proven wrong.
    - Tari Easonwas finishing strong unlike most of last year and I was actually happy Brooks was ejected to see more of him.
    - TATE the GREAT! He was the hero of the day for me. Loved his cuts and action.
    - Cam Whitmore looked solid, but I'm not going to go nuts like some fans have done. The tunnel vision was already on full display, going for a dunk when he had a 3-on-1 was the prime example. 3pt shot hopefully is not a fluke.
    - Amen Thompson will be fine, but hopefully this will make people come back down to earth right now. He'll struggle in his 1st year, but still a great impactful guy at 6'7 with rebounds and athletic as hell. Cannot teach that.
    - some of the 3rd stringers had their moments
    - as a team we had the energy and hustle, so as long as we keep that and improve on our FT shooting, we should be fine.

Preseason didn't count towards tanking that's why we played well.

It was clear as day you pissed on two players(one not even with team) and praised the rest, didn't have a prob with it I just mentioned the obvious and shortened it, which you can call it my summary or way I took it (interpret/decipher) as to be

Glad you know how long I been on here, tell me your many years as well next time around, though I could care less

Snooze, words have many diff meanings, so that makes you 1/14 when thinking decipher means what you thought it only meant

The entire team played well in spurts and avg in other spurts, got the W so that's all that matters in macro aspect

What's common to one may not be for others, just because a lie is commonly promoted as truth doesn't mean its facts

As the wise say, it takes one (clown) to know one, you are on that common sense path of being bozo, good job, now go play, we buzy

Hollins is awful. Much rather listen to… really anyone other than him. He ruins the game. Miss Bull.

They arent tanking this year. So there's no reason for this not to carry on into the regular season.

Pretty much agree with all of this except on the Jalen game. He was bricking FT's did "ok" shooting. Thought he worked bit harder on defense than last year.

Amen's layup package sucked last night, but I know he has that. If he can't make layups or jumpshots, he may be screwed. lol. Hopefully he was just snakebit. Maybe getting his dunk blocked also woke him up on how he's got to take it up stronger in the NBA. Seemed like he was letting up on the dunk at the end when he got blocked from what I recall. I think his dribbling in traffic, like Whitmore, will need to be adjusted. It won't be as easy as in high school and OTE to get through traffic with fancy dribbling in the NBA. All of this is a learning experience, though.

There was a unit I mentioned in the game thread that looked borderline lethal at times that had Tari, Bari, Amen, and I think Jalen that looked pretty good or maybe I'm mis-remembering. It was the first quarter, though, from what I recall.

Also tempering this with the fact that the Pacers were missing 2 of their starters/best players in Turner and Haliburton as well as Nembhard. And, as always.... "it's just pre-season".

What do you think would happen if @NewAge called KPJ a psychopath to his face?

    I have seen enough.

I want to see more of Cam Whitmore, Amen Thompson, Tari Eason , and Jae Sean Tate with extended minutes.

    Trade KPJ and Jock Landale.

Trade Jalen Green to WNBA. No gay ass on the Rockets please.

That was the scouting report on Amen and after lot of best case scenarios and not enough worst case scenarios later ..here we go....

The ability to finish in traffic consistently and shooting woes......

This team seems to have it to win 40 games now and the ability to finish strong.......but I see a lot of ejections and injuries along the way unfortunately.

The Pacers are a defensively challenged team and I am still worried about consistently efficient Offense more than Defense to be honest.

These Green drives were indeed good. Decisive, straight-line, rely on your burst and speed. No meandering and dribbling, he doesn’t have the type of bag to cook people off. Just full-steam straight-line, that’s his game.

So, tell us your view: if he "doesn't develop into a great player", what is the likely reason? He's too slow? Can't jump? Can't shoot? Is lazy?....
What's missing? You know what I think is missing, what do you think is the missing ingredient?

Is there a way to watch a replay of this game?
