In my opinion it’s a lose - lose situation for Israel . I do not know what I would do I’m Jewish . I support the right for Israel to exist . The history of that region is conflict since the birth of Israel .( and before ) I obviously condemn violence agaisnt Israel from Hamas ( not that they care ) I also condemn the treatment of Palestinians by Israel , Israel has been the aggressor many times . The critique of apartheid is true. there is another layer to all of this that I hate and that is about Netanyahu. This guy literally is corrupt and has done everything to stay in power , and now he gets to declare an emergency. With the reports that he ignored security briefings popping up , well I believe it’s true . from the outside we think of Israel’s military and intelligence as top notch . That they missed this is suspicious. tinfoil hat regardless, this is just an all around terrible situation. I think maybe if I was dictator of Israel I would not have retaliated… this time , but I just don’t know
This discussion with Palestine and Israel is a slippery slope... I keep seeing how individuals are trying to make supporters on each side look bad... There is a lot of bad history with this from both sides and to me this is a no win situation for America... I do hate that innocent people will be getting hurt and killed because of this... T_Man
Liberal podcaster Ben Rhodes suggests that Bibi purposely turned a blind eye to the south and ignored the warnings from Egypt which led to the 1,500 Hamas terrorists to storm the unguarded fence so he could gain politically. Supposedly Bibi has told his political partners in 2019 that a strong Hamas is the best thing for Israel because it delegitimizes the Palestinians in the global stage vs the accepted Palestinian authority.

Trumps big accomplishment with Iran and deterrence… assassinating Sulaiman which did nothing but consolidate factions in Iran and lead them further down this path of training and arming Hamas, and others. In 2015 BLM and other left leaning groups had reason to look at the situation in Palestine and say something is wrong there and the US needs to craft policy that doesn’t leave out Palestinians which would create another Afghanistan type of situation but with more people in a smaller area with more reasons to hate the West and channel that anger at Israel. This person made a stupid comment about destroying Israel and needs to be educated and needs to apologize. It’s Kyrie Irving like dumbassary. However that education and condemnation needs to come from sources that actually have some credibility and not MAGA assholes.

When Israel declared independence, it did not claim all of the land. The West Bank was part of Jordan for instance after the 1948 war. Point being, to say Palestine never existed isn't accurate.
Yeah makes sense that Bibi has some blame here for politically looking at convenience for him vs just focusing on what is best for Israel. It would be like the Dem party behind the scenes propping up Trump and MAGA cultists in elections just because they knew that they were easier to beat in a general election. That's the plan. I am sure that the power brokers in Israel have realized by now that they should have "cleansed" the West Bank and Gaza a long time ago. Plus, now there are plenty of Jews that would love to move into that area.
