That ignores the fact that there are people there who have their own identity. The argument could be flipped around that since the Roman conquest there wasn’t an independent Israel / Judea and even
Prior to that it was also controlled by egyptians, Hittites, and Babylonians.

This argument if statelessness has also been used in other situations such as the Serbs and Croats asserted that Bosnians didn’t exists as a people and shouldn’t get their own country.

PSA: Anything commodore post should be taken as misinformation by default until shown otherwise. Anything from Andy Ngo should always be treated as disinformation.

If people haven't noticed yet, the trend on social media is to spread more hate. To show the world that Palestinians want all Israelis dead and that Israelis want all Palestinians dead. How much truth there is to that cannot at all be gauged through social media. But through social media, you'd think it's close to 100%.

They are going after the Biden administration pretty hard...

    https://nypost.com/2023/10/10/biden...-personnel-calling-for-violence-against-jews/

Biden admin sent $730M to UN group despite calls for anti-Jew violence: ‘Rotten to the core’

The Biden administration has funneled more than $730 million to a United Nations organization for refugee assistance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip that harbored personnel who have incited violence against the Jewish people, The Post has learned.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has been accused in recent years of employing educators who “regularly call to murder Jews” and teach from textbooks “that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism,” according to a March joint report by the non-governmental organization UN Watch and the Israeli non-profit Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education.

The US can’t legally provide money directly to the Palestinian Authority or the terror group Hamas, which last weekend carried out the worst civilian massacre in the state of Israel’s 75-year history.

The State Department has nevertheless provided grants and other funding to organizations in the area, despite experts bemoaning the lack of “guardrails” and internal documents noting “a high risk” that Hamas could benefit from the money dump.

The State Department, which has yet to pause any funding to groups in the Palestinian territories, did not respond to a request for comment. The US Office of Palestinian Affairs also did not respond to a request for comment.

The Trump administration ended funding to UNRWA in 2018, calling it an “irredeemably flawed operation.” President Biden reversed that decision and the US is currently the agency’s largest funder.

Sad, but that's a good PSA. Social media probably even contributed to the start of this recent idiocy. I can only imagine what Hamas' social media lives are like. Sigh.

But yeah, unfortunately, the poster you've mentioned has been called out numerous times and won't even remove content when it's shown to be completely false. Oh well. Just comes with our times. A bunch of people no longer believe in truth but rather just believe in forwarding an agenda.

Even in 1926 when the British were formally naming the area, the Europeans wanted to call it Palestine, the Arabs wanted to call it southern Syria, and the Jews wanted to call it the land of Israel. As a compromise, the British called it Palestine but with the Hebrew initials for land of Israel in parentheses. In 1948, Israel declared independence. So it was Palestine (Land of Israel) for 22 years while under the control of the British.

How would you feel if Turkey decided to send “peace keepers” in to manage Gaza again? Would Israel allow it?

    Erdogan is practically a neo-Ottoman

    https://www.brecorder.com/news/40267560

ANKARA: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Israel’s blockade and bombing of Gaza in retaliation for Palestinian group Hamas’ attack was a disproportionate response amounting to a “massacre”.

With Ankara offering to mediate, Erdogan and his foreign minister held calls with regional powers, the United States and others. However, Israel’s envoy to Ankara has said it is too early to discuss mediation.

Hamas could identify the government//military from civilians - and chose to target the civilians.

Identifying Hamas from Palestinians isn't as easy. If Palestinians want to distance themselves from Hamas, march those responsible to the boarder and turn them over. Won't happen obviously so yeah - there were will a lot of civilians killed.
