I'm assuming you left that big ass cell phone at home that would have otherwise protected you? Hope you're feeling better soon!!
i haven't gotten tested since we won the covid wars. pretty sure ive gotten it several times the last 2 years tho. i still bring a mask around since i constantly have a cold.
Thanks. (I'm actually far short of the age, so my Doc and I opted to avoid Paxlovid -- nasty side effects + the rebound effect!) I'm doing much better today; fever's broken, hopefully for good.
mom always makes sure i have a mask when i leave the house, plus i eat at least half of my veggies and always finish my homework before dinner.
I almost never catch colds, and almost never get sick. Last time I was really sick was 1983. If I feel at all under the weather I will do a Covid test. Why not?
It's interesting. I was feeling great and not even jet-lagged when walking into the SFO airport with Mrs. B-Bob. The CDC had a booth there looking for volunteers, so we let them take a nasal swab. They said they're trying to monitor new variants coming into the US. I wasn't sick yet, but I hope they detected my new German version, haha.
Funny, I like how some of ya'll are like nope, the symptoms are mild so it's just a cold. Looking at the CDC, the symptoms for a cold and covid are virtually identical ...especially during onset when it's most contagious. I have extra kits laying around. As soon as I have a symptom, I take a test and move on with life. Easy peasy. I don't understand the active resistance crowd.
When the dead bodies start getting stacked in storage trucks again, and you can't get into a hospital, and life-saving surgeries starts getting cancelled because the beds are full... Testing will be a thing again. You spread Covid and people could start dying. Once you've seen something happen, you've seen it. It's not imaginary.
I still test if I feel like I have the flu or a cold, not so much for me but I don't want to get anyone around me sick. It`s a precaution, nothing more, nothing less.
I've been having tons of fatigue and a headache for the last 3 days. These colds never use to kick my ass like this before.
