Snooze, I only replied to this latest reply of yours, where you basically praised everyone else with joy and pissed on the two I mentioned, so I interpreted (deciphered) it as you wrote it, had I come across your other post I would have took that into consideration, so just at me on your near present post so I can know your every quote(jk)

    Take it easy whipper snapper

You could have just said all players played well besides Green, but whatever works tor you stay at it son, sincerely

Yeah, high 30s and if all goes well with health they may get 40 (though unlikely)

But mid to high 30's would still be impressive from the low 20's of last season, gotta crawl before you walk, even in so called phase two

It seems you can't quite grasp people stating what they saw during a game.

it's actually nothing new, and has been around for quite some time, especially on Clutchfans.

Typically after every game - pre, regular and post season - a lot of posters put what they saw with their eyes, into words on a forum for others to see.

I'm honestly impressed you've managed to be on Clutchfans for a year now and still haven't seen this phenomenon before.

Like I said, pipe down. You're 0/2. Newsflash, when I think Green plays well I'll comment saying so (as was done when I thought he did last season)

But hey, don't let common sense and facts get in the way of your butt hurt.

And again let me spell it out for you. There. Was. Nothing. To. Interpret.

    Spelled. Out. Clear. As. Day.

You're doubling down into DD level of stupidity clown.

In general, the offense just looks so much better without KPJ.

And it also looks like the Rockets are re-establishing a seniority hierarchy, which is honestly great to hear. Jeff Green and FVV are clear veterans of the team and I'm glad they are making this clear.

This is a much needed cultural clean-up and it could not have come at a better time.

Yes. The whole "giving the keys to KPJ/Green" was such a dumb fail. Shouldn't have happened. This team (and the double-sided lockers) should have been John Wall and Eric Gordon's . Instead we had to watch a trash team build on two mediocre and clueless bozos for two years

Except for those few that seemed to think the Rockets looked terrible, many of the rest I find myself mostly agreeing with.

I see improvement, buts lots more work to be done.
At some point, the roster will get set to 15 guys and we might start seeing more minutes going to fewer guys (we played 17 players in this one).

Cam was amazing, many others looked good. Even those who were meh, the effort was there.

I fell asleep before halftime. Did Hinton, Hudgins, or Mayer get any run?

Jabari looks like a completely different player. Already looks taller, stronger out there, but the mindset is much different and his ballhandling skills have improved a ton. I think he's going to have a great year. I still don't think he's the kind of guy you run your offense through, but he doesn't have to be if he can become an great shotmaker in the vein of KD or Tatum. (Not saying he'll be as good as those guys, but something around there would be the way he becomes an all-star.)

Porter is not missed at all. He may not had much playing time anyway. Cam & Amen are for real. Truly believe both will have regular minutes in the rotation. I hope Coach can keep everyone happy yet hungry. We have a lot of talent and only so much time to show it. Porter would have just been in the way had he stayed. The season is long we will see where we are in the Spring.

Cam and Amen are perfectly complementary players. Their games mesh together well on the offensive end, and they defend well. Hard to imagine they don't become a part of a regular rotation.

Amen can initiate, probe the defense, and find the open guy. Cam can find that space on the wing and finish if the D rotates to him. They can both cut and know how to help out on the glass. Lots to like here.

Pumping Senguns defense when it's preseason game 1,

when the Pacers didn't bother playing their best players,

and most importantly - nobody cares enough to try to isolate weak match ups - the absolute bane of Senguns existence against faster guards and larger centers...

... is a bit of a reach. Best to reserve judgment.

It's going to be a long season

Most of the game was a bricklayers convention.
    Ended up: 46.7% (FG%)...40% (3P%)...71.8% (FT%)
In tracking the game (while watching) most of the game was
    41% (FG%)...25% (3P%)...65%(FT%)

all 3 stunk for most of the game until the summer league players that are capable of hitting 3's opened up the court (Days, Samuels, Hudgins), but how much will they play during the season. I can't imagine
a 12 man rotation each game.

Defense was good as expected, vs a fringe bubble team that looks much better with Myles
Turner and top notch NBA PG in Haliburton.

Dillon Brooks just can't play basketball, he has to embellish and add a little extra because he isn't good enough.

Sengun played ok, needs to shoot more 3's. Teams in preseason play switch everything or
man to man. Won't see much zone or complete paint packing in preseason. Needs to make
    his FT's.
    _________

Two biggest bright spots were Jabari Smith and Cam Whitmore. Unfortunately Cam will need
more playing time during the season and Dillon Brooks needs less than his $20M salary gets him.

If not for Jabari and Cam it would have been a s##t show.

Looks like mostly everyone is satisfied with last night. I was satisfied with the PGs, SF and PF. Not so much with Jalen and the center position as a whole.

Its the first Pre-season game, so Im not going to panic but Jalen looks the same and so does Sengun. I need for Jalen to improve his efficiency and Sengun to not be so hesitant to take the 3pt shot....I hate the pump fakes at the 3pt line, take the shot! To be effective against the bigger players, Sengun needs to take more 3pt shots.

Also, we need to find somebody who can play defense in the paint. If Myles Turner would have played, it would have been game over! Jalen Smith was having a good game and he rarely plays.

Outside of that, I did see a defensive improvement. I love our bench and we need to find more minutes for Mayer. Yes, Im serious! Mayer is a plus at where we are weakest, 3pt shooting. And he can take a charge....we need a player like that off the bench!
