It's the Frist game without NIX . I don't miss him at all. LOL

 

He looks like it, but he played like he made it back to the Enterprise. Tough kid.

 

The team seems more fun to watch without KPJ ruining several possessions a game.

I’m satisfied with what I’ve seen so far. I didn’t even care if we lost as long as I saw they were working towards something. As rusty as they seemed, I can see the buy in from everyone. Gentlemen it’s been fun and I hope they’re all as fun to watch as this one. Goodnight.

Stone has been money on that 15-20 pick range. Man is picking studs

 

I think I actually saw a few off-the-ball screens.

 

I like Hudgins at point guard. He's like a slower Damon Stoudemire, but he has a sweet shot.

Cam Whitmore hasn't seen a shot that he doesn't like.

 

He doesn't look all that different from year 1 or 2 tbh. But then again it's pre season, but not sure what exactly he worked on this off season other than getting a bit stronger

 

Ime is just on a whole other planet than Silas. He doesn’t think about his answers just fires away. Has all the stats in his head doesn’t look like he’s second guessing his answers as he’s stating them. Most of all he doesn’t come off as a meek sniveling b****. He’s a serious dude and he knows he’s the guy. Love it.

Good first game for Ime's squad! Takeaways...

- Jabari, Alpi and Tari looked improved and ready for the season. Exciting to see them play!
- Nice having FVV at PG, defense and leadership much improved at that position.
- Jalen didn’t look comfortable, played ok, but hopefully he elevates his game to higher standard this season.
- Jock isn't moving well and did see any bounce... still dealing with bad ankle injury aftermath?
- Amen is athletic, but needs to figure out how to control his talent.
- Cam is new Iceman, dude is a star in the making, but comes off so chill. He's ready to contribute now, where Amen is gonna have some learning to do.
- Brooks is a hustler, gonna bring the nasty to this lineup. Can't believe he was ejected in first 5 minutes. Ime needs to channel his energy and he'll be a difference makers for this team.

Yeah, its just PS1, but damn it's good to see this kind of ball vs what we had to live with the last 3 years.

 

Cam has explosive speed as well as that shot. I need to see more of his defense, but he didn’t look like a rookie. Sure, our first preseason game, but damn. The young man was impressive! We are loaded at the 3. No doubt about it.
