Because the rangers game tomorrow was scheduled at 6pm already. That game doesn’t exist at this rate atl plays at 4. Dodgers play at 8. The NL times don’t change
If we can win tomorrow, then JV could start game 1 of the ALCS. But if it goes to game 5, then our rotation in the ALCS would not be ideal.
Man, I miss the good old days of Shelby doing the interviews instead of the likes of Vanessa. Is the a 2nd cousin to the Fertits or something?
But there will still be the loud intimidating Twins fans to deal with I mean the Stros have never had to deal with such a loud ruckus crowd before
Fox broadcast wouldn't STFU about the afternoon shadow across the field that apparently only affects Javier's pitches, making them impossible to see.
Why were they doing that? Was that supposed to be a distraction to the pitcher? Was the clock broken and it was good sportsmanship??? If it was a distraction, why count down in sync with the clock? Also they should ask the pitchers if they would want the fans to do it when they're pitching in Houston. If it helps then tell the fans before the game to count down to help them out.
The broadcast totally overblew it, but it is very much a thing. Pitcher in light, hitter in dark...or vice versa...or sometimes light-dark-light or vice versa, it a total detriment to the ability of a hitter to pick up the ball, spin, etc out of the pitcher's hand. This also works for fielders, I'm not sure how much Yordan's 2B (called an error) in the 1st was affected by it.
So in reading their boards and social media they thought the HPU was blowing the call. A bunch of MIN fans were under the impression the ball had to be out of his hand before the timer hit zero but of course they don’t bother to understand the rules so they started chanting thinking the HPU would call it.
