Israel Goes To War with Hamas 2023

The nature of these attacks by Hamas are absolutely horrific.

Israel is only willing to coexist because they control the laws, land and resources. They aren't willing to allow Palestinians equal opportunity, self-determination, or application of laws.

Palestinians aren't willing to stop supporting terrorism.

 

All that happened in Ireland is that the Catholics gave up.

The IRA soldiers and those deeply involved ended up dead or in prison.

 

So..... Egypt has better intelligence than the USA?

Did Biden's administration fail in not-knowing about the pending attack?
...Or did Biden's administration know, and just failed in not taking appropriate action about the pending attack?

 

London is ******* crazy.

People in the United States are sensitive to terrorism, but there was almost NO public support of terrorism and the spread of extreme Islam..... it isn't like that in London. I have had people in London tell me that my Middle Eastern wife needs to be covered, that she should not show her hair or face. I have seen open calls for establishing Muslim rule in London.

Every place is different - but I don't think what happens in London with some Muslims would fly in the USA.

 

First - when it comes to Hamas, yes it is very possible that Egypt had better intelligence that the USA and that shouldn't be shocking.

Second, to answer your question requires information we don't have .... it is possible that we did not receive notification. We know Israel is not always transparent with the USA on intelligence issues. It is possible that the USA trusted Israeli intelligence over Egyptian intelligence...... it is possible that the USA let Israel know and they choose to do nothing.

At this point, it has very little good or bad to do with Joe Biden.

I hope you are right, but that is not consistent with my experiences in Israel and in interactions with Israeli's and Palestinians.

I believe that a lot of the hatred is a result of brainwashing - which is something very present there.

I agree the extremists fuel the narrative, and they force a very black and white viewpoint - but I believe most people there have that time of viewpoint.

 

The reason that Israel hasn't turned the Gaza Strip and West Bank into ash is because they have too much to lose. They do not want to be further alienated than they are. They do not want to have the same fate as South Africa. The hatred for the Palestinians is real, and it is institutional. Just as the Palestinians dehumanize the Jews, the Jews do the same to the Palestinians. It is far more politically savvy to just keep pushing further Israeli settlements into the Palestinian regions and control resources like water and electricity while claiming the high ground.

 

Wow - the lengths conservatives will go to blame Democrats for everything wrong in world.

Dude Israel was warned about the attacks as confirmed just a bit ago. Even if the US also knew about the planning what more could they have done that they weren’t already going to do after the Egyptians already warned them of?

I swear in this country nobody hates on the US more than Republicans the day that a Democrat takes office at any level.

 

Their official responsibility is America. No one is faulting American intelligence agencies.
