They could have done this at literally any point, which I already posted pages ago.

Tuberville and Senate Republicans plot rarely used tactic to force vote on stalled Marine Corps commandant nomination | CNN Politics

They only did it now because Tuberville was going to force them to hold a roll call vote on the Marine Corps commandant. The whole made up drama about Tuberville damaging military readiness or hating the military was propaganda to fool the gullible. It clearly worked.

An extremist who is withholding promotions until he gets what he wants is putting military readiness at risk and continues to do so. One high-level official has already gone through, with 300+ more to go. Readiness is at risk, and there’s no spinning it; it’s a fact.

Saying the quiet part out loud. Yet, many still won't hear it.

Tuberville Says Military Is ‘Not an Equal Opportunity Employer’

The ignoranus from Alabama said he voted against Air Force General Charles Q. Brown Jr.’s nomination as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff last week because “I think he has some woke policies.” Brown’s nomination passed, 83-11.

“I heard some things that he talked about, about race and things that he wanted to mix into the military,” Tuberville said.
He said he specifically objected to Brown’s call for more diversity in the ranks of Air Force pilots, only about 2% of whom are Black.

“He came out and he said we need certain groups, more pilots. Certain groups to have an opportunity to be pilots. Listen, I want it to be on merit. I want our military to be the best. I want it to be the best people.
I don’t care who they are. Men, women. It doesn’t make any difference. Catholics, Protestants,” he said. “Don’t give me this stuff about equal opportunity, because that’s not what this military is about.”

Representative Jim Clyburn, a South Carolina Democrat, immediately condemned Tuberville’s remarks.

“He is the worst of the worst,” Clyburn said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. “The people of Alabama ought to be embarrassed about that.”

    Clyburn added that,

It's very clear where some people's priorities are.

You'd think it would be easy to vote them out. But for some, upsetting the other side is the most important thing of all, including our nation's best interest.

Does Tuberville know that the Union Army is the one he is supposed to be voting on?

    Serious question.

Like i would wager even odds he doesn't know this.

Liar. That isn’t at all what the fellow said. Tuberville sits on a committee. You have heard of Senate committees, haven’t you? Perhaps not.

Then put it in context from the start and stop with the lies and misinformation as you so often do, it was a bad comeback from a question, and he should not have said it, I took it as a flippant statement that was in bad taste but NO called for anyone kiling anyone..........if were taking speech out of context why don't I ever see you say anything negative on the gop maga front when they ACTUALLY call for violence, like Miley being hung?

Don't be absurd. He was not asking a disinterested question about whether or not Tuberville should be killed, leaning no himself. That is a suggestion that Tuberville should in fact be killed. I personally think he should be free to make such a suggestion, but I won't pretend he didn't do it.
