Yes terrorism has and could happen here but a large scale attack like what Hamas did is very unlikely. Where are a bunch of Hamas fighters going to fly in on paragliders from? Tijuana, Vancouver? Neither Canada or Mexico are failed states that would allow that. Also on the subject there is a border wall surrounding Gaza. This attack shows how effective border walls actually are at stopping determined crossers.
Hamas doesn't need to fly in with paragliders, with the immigration crisis they are probably already here...
I'm actually sure for a fact that there are Hamas sympathizers and probably those who claim they are outright members of Hamas. That is more reason why though we need an active DOJ and FBI instead of Defunding it like we hear many on the Right say.
