I like the current playoff format. It is still pretty new - but smart franchise will adapt and build teams that can thrive in the new format. If the Astros cannot beat the Twins, then they don’t deserve to move on. Same for the Dodgers and Braves last year. Winning 100 games in the regular season is a big accomplishment but that isn’t the same as a playoff format. Luhnow and Click got that and made moves to win in October, not in June.
Still seems like dominant pitching is dominating… and poor pitching getting rocked. The Rangers-Orioles series has no true dominant pitchers, thus the team with the less deer in headlights look is doing quite well. A.) get good pitching that can dominate in games B.). Get guys on the team that aren’t afraid of the moment… or have been there before. (The D’backs don’t have much of that, but they did rock bad pitching).
Have we seen a comeback win yet? Seems like the team that takes the early lead in the early innings has kept it for every game in the post season so far
D’backs came back twice against the Brewers. Winning teams for the most part have had great pitching.
Not mad at Harper there. Chances were better that the ball would drop than the next batter would have drove him in anyhow
One of the more exciting endings to a game you will see -- walk offs included. Braves avoid disaster going to Philly down 0-2.
