So if The Astros get eliminated, Dusty's stunted Diaz's growth for no reason. Decided to play his favorite's in place of his best. If the window is indeed closing and Diaz is a future star he held back the growth of a player who might be able to help The Astros get back to The WS sooner than later yet Dusty decided to play an auto out nearly every game....

Revenge for what? For not accepting a generous offer from The Astros and staying with the city he "loves"... He left, he wasn't traded....

Would be fantastic for the Astros to just shut 'em up, take 2 more, and knock them out of the running. Let's do this!

Exactly! It was his choice to leave. $160 million just wasn't enough to live lavishly on. Imagine that.

He then proceeded to do the same to Minny, left for the Giants and Mets and when the physical's showed problems in the future he came back to The Twins because he had no choice... Now his fan base acting like he is some great leader and the heart and soul of the team, uh he bounced on ya'll... Only there because he has to be.

Correa is just being Correa. Just like Morton was being Morton. Anyone that thought Pena is a better player than Correa was fooling themselves. Pena obviously is a better value, but he isn't a better player. Our guys just need to step up and Baker needs to get his head out of his ass with Maldy. If Valdez doesn't get it together, we really don't have a chance to win it again. I'm hoping the long rest gave Javier some juice back.

Just because he was about to bounce for obscene money, doesn't mean he isn't a great leader. None of his former teammates has ever said one bad thing about him. Correa is one of the leaders in playoff RBI's for a reason. That being said, we have plenty of fire power to beat the twins, they just need to get their act together.

so what. damn right he has every right leave for an obscure payday for what he's worked for. that's what he's supposed to do. What hes supposed to sacrifice getting paid for folks he doesn't even know? Nah.

Yeah he is a great leader. Anyone who has followed the stros regularly knows what he brought to this team not only in the postseason but when all the drama broke. He was one of few who spoke up and didn't give af what anyone else said. And his leadership is a big reason why the twins have turned into a postseason team and its clearly showed. There isn't a single person in the stros organization that has a bad thing to say about him.

random folks to who sit at home and b****h about someone they don't even know reaping benefits of their hard work is just hilarious. I guess thats the mindset of folks who don't understand progression in life

Oh yeah, he is a great leader for the right $$$.... Like I said, he bounced on every team for that pay day.... Loyalty is also a part of leadership, he is loyal to the money and for that he will be your champion.

he's a great leader no matter what he was getting paid. when he was with the astros trying to be what he is now, he was making next to nothing and he was a great leader.

no loyalty is not part of leadership. loyalty in sports doesn't exist. That's some gimmick nonsense casuals want to hang onto because they're butthurt. It's a business first

grade school kids complain about loyalty in professional sports. Adults understand the business and what you're supposed do to be rewarded for the hard work. that's called reality and self awareness

Last game HOU was out pitched and bats were cold

New game in MINN and the pressure is on the Twins to win at home.

Bust those orange jerseys out and give them hell

Astro Fan boo'ing Carlos Correa is the most Astro Fan thing that Astro Fan has Astro Fan'd in a long time.

Or at least since the last time Astro Fan tried to reach over and grab a ball-in-play. Or started the wave.

Yeah, it feels great to know your leader is only there because of the money and not because he has your back. He wasn't offered pocket change, over 100 mil is an insane amount of money. No one is butt hurt, him leaving worked wonders for The Astros, the emergence of Tucker and Pena.... I'm just saying this isn't a revenge series. I rather give that money to Tucker over Correa.....

So Tom Brady didn't take significantly less money all those years with NE? Have you seen Jose Ramirez's contract with the Guardians?

Correa was all about getting paid. Didn't care by which team or where he went. And that's fine, that is his right and most athletes go that route.
