My guess is that if we have a runner in scoring position and Maldy comes up that Dusty makes the switch to diaz

 

Dusty definitely wants to win, but only his way. He would rather lose then admit he made a mistake

 

he can’t even bunt though. He is completely useless no matter how you look at him

 

Can someone tell Maldy to stop swinging with men on base? Especially at 1st with less than 2 outs?

 

Selfish at bat by Maldonado. Take the pitch. You're not getting a hit off opez. It's ok if it's a strike out, pass it to Altuve.

 

Yeah Maldy needs to be bunting in that situation. It's almost like letting a pitcher hit in that situation, just dumb.

 

If you have the balls to have Altuve bunt, then Maldy should have as well

 

Yeah you'd think that would caused him to adjust his game plan. But you know, the fans and players will appreciate his decisions to bring up Diaz career slowly and not put him into stressful situations.
