Biggest gut wrenching loss in ages for me. Just when I got so excited over crushing Pittsburgh I felt like I was time warped back into Bill O'Brien's coaching.

Just when I thought we pulled off a comeback win, and was screaming and hollering with joy it came crashing down on me with that final drive by Atlanta. What a heartbreaker.

Just horrible play calling. Only completing 4 of 13 on 3rd downs is unacceptable. Our pass coverage was unacceptable. I'm just in shock right now. Ugh

Slowik is a rookie OC so he's learning too. People were anointing him the next hot head coach in the NFL.

Too conservative on offense and defense is the bottom line.

We let Des Ridder have a career game, that's the worst part of this loss--no pressure on him whatsoever. That's inexcusable!

    What happened to Nico?

Didn't see any stunts from DL.

Despite the above this was a winnable game. Feels like we beat ourselves.

I agree the offense didn’t do good most of the game. I said as much. But our defense shut down their run game. Desmond Ridder didn’t get 300 yards all on that last drive. He cooked them all game.

He had a clean pocket majority of the game. They had the lead with less than 2 mins. Sure the defense had to be gassed. But they were going to be gassed at that point in the game anyways. That doesn’t give them an excuse to completely lay down.

We really missed The Diesel. He is our most physical cb.

Slowik and the pass rush. Somewhere between 40/60 and 60/40.

Not a good all around effort. Coaching staff got out coached on all levels. Stroud looked timid. Receivers left a lot on the field. The offensive line configuration was weird. The pass rush only shows up every third week.

This team needs to put the brakes on the hype train and go back to the drawing board.

You should be able to win giving up 21 points, especially with a +2 turnover differential.

Rubbing salt in the wound to remind us there's a lot more losing we get to watch?

    Go Astros.

Desmond Ridder cooked for them while (no offense) John Christian Kaʻiminoeauloamekaʻikeokekumupaʻa cooked for us.

    It'll be alright.

    We could be the Panthers...

But we have a franchise QB so that's what is important. Hopefully the rest will figure itself out.

We still have holes on both sides of the field. No lock down corner (one that can play and not always be hurt), we don't have a line swallowing nose tackle that would vastly increase the pressure we can put on QBs, and honestly Pierce isn't it. He'd probably be a great change of pace or back up back but so far this year he's showing he can't be the main guy.

Coming out and going run, run, pass 3 and out after that Bijan fumble was nasty. Right then is where it felt like they wanted this to be a defensive game for whatever reason despite the fact that they couldn’t stop Desmond Ridder

Can't have a defensive game when you're covering for an average of 12 seconds per pass.

Tough loss because we could easily have won this, I had noticed things were not going our way early but I thought they were going to turn around later in the game… :(

This. You are down by 6. This is a basic two minute drill. No need to rush in a snap before 2:00 min. Like honestly running the ball was smart in terms of it runs out the clock more. I just don't get why rush in a snap before 2 min. It's not like you are down 2 scores. Just need one td. So you just need one more drive down the field. No need to save time there.
