    They're (Fox is) keeping the day time slots open for football.

    And besides, the AL and NL series are never scheduled to end the same day.

    I think AL and NL alternate off-days every year. Last year we had an off-day between game 1 and 2 vs the Mariners.

    Similar to last year. Both NL teams with the bye were knocked out and the Yankees escaped in 5 games while the Astros swept.

    Every home team but the Braves won Game 1 in the Division Series last year. But the Astros were the only team to head out on the road up 2-0.
