[Chron] Toyota Center will be renovated for roughly 30 mill

I actually like downtown. It's a trek and not perfect but seems better than Greenway plaza. Although I can't say I spent much time as an adult except costco. That costco is above average imo

 

They should replace all the seats to something more comfortable

 

yeah the design of the Toyota center definitely sucks but the location does not. so much has happened in the eastern sides of downtown the last 10-15 years. nah its not new york obviously but at least it isn't just a sea of parking lots anymore

 

it's crazy, so many bad takes in here. i bet none of them have been to downtown in decades with their outdated tired takes.

 

It's time for them to rip those damn maroon seats out.

 

$30 million is a bargain when accounting for today's astronomical costs.

 

It could definitely use a good power wash on the outside.

 

It's a trek? It's literally the center of the city. If it's a trek for you, it's not them; it's you. You live very far from the actual city my dude. It's 5 minutes from away from me!

Besides some maintenance and small upgrades that need to be done, Toyota Center isn't that bad. If anything, its' surroundings need to improve. Toyota Center still looks better than MSG. That Stadium is absolutely filthy.
