That's highly insulting. Spanoulis is the Jordan of Greece.

Billy! LOL I used to always crack up seeing seeing Tmac's face when that "Tmac of Greece" comment would be brought up to him in interviews. You can tell he was trying to be cool about it, but you know inside he was like dude is not even in my league.

Does anyone think he would've faired better if he came in a year later under Adelman?

Wasn't he the one having trouble adjusting to the 3 point line......

The Rockets were impatient when it came to international players and young players.

I agree, I think his confidence was shot going into the season. He didn't get that vote of confidence from JVG either. Not only the three ball, but his drives to the basket just seemed like he was unsure he was even supposed to do that.

He was definitely our franchise player. If racist JVG would've used him properly, he'd of been a superstar. Sound familiar?

He couldn't shoot. If he stayed in the NBA, he'd be something like MCW.

I think overall he was a better player than Coach Imay on his Euroleague accolades alone.

We will see who is more decorated as coach.

It's always heartwarming (and heart de-worming) to see a player circle back to the barn where it all began.

He couldn't shoot, but he also really didn't seem to be able to pass all that well. I remember him sending passes into the stands sometimes. He had 29 turnovers and 28 assists in his career with the Rockets. lol. He can always say Luka was one of his biggest fans when he was growing up. Giannis called him the Kobe of Europe.

To be fair, he was probably still adjusting to the NBA game and his teammates. Maybe he thought those Red Rowdy dudes wearing Rockets gears in the stands were his teammates. :D
