I hate this victim mentality that a lot of Houston sports fans seem to have. Houston has actually drawn well in ratings for mlb playoff games… some fan bases still hate watch. None of the ratings come close to CFB and the NFL so basically fox will try to mitigate that with their time slots.
Ironically those fan bases are complaining about the extra off days, as were people here initially last year (Astros had an extra day between games one and two). Baseball is meant to be played everyday.
I get a good chuckle from these type of fans. I mean especially from a team (fan base) that lost like what EIGHTEEN consecutive playoff games and now you've won two games and you're going to start beating your chest about how bad @$$ you are and spewing "we want Houston" and making comments like, "Houston, we have a problem"?? This is comedy at its finest.
That's changed now. World Series home field advantage is by record now. https://www.mlb.com/news/world-seri...xt=The team with the higher,-7 (if necessary).
Twins fans are really pumped up. A lot of people here says it feels Like 1987 (when the Twins won their first of two WS). I’m planning on getting tickets to game theee already some of my friends are deciding if they want to be around me during that game. Im bracing for a lot of booing and being called “Cheater!”.
Stay safe out there. Seems like Minne fans are way more mellow than Yankees or dodgers though. however, i hope the ‘Stros are blasting those “WE WANT HOUSTON” chants loud as fck lol
It's going to be fascinating watching Twins fans boo Altuve.... and cheer Correa. Carlos seems like a great guy, and he love Altuve: I'm expecting him to speak up for Jose often during the series.
why would he do that during the series. Correa is an ultimate competitor who has no reason to speak up for tuve while they're playing against each other during the most important time of the season, outside of a dirty play or something. booing that comes with the territory, especially in the postseason. everyone on both sides have significantly more to worry about than fans booing at a sporting event.
It's been how many years now? Y'all should know by now that series threads don't get posted until the day of game one.
Beyond how stale it is.... Uhm, Houston *solved* the problem! I don't want to "Well, actually" this but - that's the entire point of the movie! The men and women on the ground in NASA/Houston being bad-ass smart nerds and saving lives. (Sorry; but this misappropriation drives me bananas.)
