Landale is good defensively, but yeah from the footages I’ve only seen him go up against Uncle Jeff and that’s just unfair. The difference, and what to get excited about, is that they are actually getting him the ball and exploiting that. Bruno Fernandez or Garuba are mismatches just like Jeff Green but we didn’t hear anything about Sengun dominating because getting him the ball was not the focus of this team, kpj ball was.

Jalen got the pub (great article) but the hierarchy is being established on the court today.

So good to hear, Jabari was the biggest question mark, just because we have already seen the trajectory Sengun and Jalen are on.

What I liked about that video was FVV leading by example in a play designed to get our big a mismatch. I can recall very few plays last year where our guards set picks, especially for our bigs.

Seeing FVV set a pick to free Alpi for a dribble drive was a refreshing change of pace and a welcome addition to the Rockets playbook.

KPJ and Harden would've thrown their hands in the air disgusted that Alpi went to work. You can forget about them ever setting a screen too

Damn, so we did get a leader. And people were b****ing some about this guy? This is what real veterans do.

...from what I have seen from Udoka's offense in Boston - he likes to let the bigs initiate and guards are expected to screen for each other - this seems like a wrinkle off that action. Boston's offense was good but not great that year under Udoka(obviously their defense carried them) but Udoka didn't have bigs like Alpi or Bari as playmake/defense stretchers in the same capacity....but yes- I'm equally excited about these welcome changes.

I am so excited about this upcoming season. The team I have been rooting for for 28 years just got a lot more likeable.

I was just thinking this exact thought. I genuinely don't know what anybody has to b**** about. Watched all the interviews, only person I didn't like more for watching them was Stone. Jalen's got the confidence of an emerging star - confidence was his biggest downfall under Silas. Sengun's always been one of the most likeable humans to ever step foot on the court imo. Amen's a diamond. FVV is way better than advertised, looks a real leader and true veteran with a good head on his shoulders. Tari's a wonderful young man. Dillon Brooks got all that hate and all I've seen from him is a drive to mentor and put the dog in our kids. Jabari's come back a grown ass man. I even like Jock who I'd never really heard of much, he's a dude, just says it exactly like it is with no pretense or niceties. This is a very likeable and talented group of people we're looking at this season. No boneheads like House or Wood or Voldemort. No pissy vets like EG who looked like he didn't want to be there. Looks like Ime's got everybody to buy in and I'm so here for it.
