Rays are pathetic. Offense, defense, fielding, pitching, stadium, crowd, everything. Rangers lucked out playing this team instead of the Twins.
It would be pretty fun to have a Rangers/Astros ALCS… But it would be way more fun to see the Rangers choke this game and series away somehow.

Yeah I saw that but didn't agree with everyone else. I'm assuming they didn't they a look at their regular season match-ups. Twins were on fire toward the end of the season and played the Rangers very well all season. Contrast that with the Rays who got swept by the Rangers just a weeks ago.
Point still stands. Rangers made easy work of them vs the Twins who they lost the season series against.

Too be fair, I didn't care who they played. I was just laughing at the fact how they managed to squander the AL West to the Astros and then had to fly across country to play in day games for a wild card... Tampa made that trip that much further. They own Tampa though. And they are showing it. Tampa playing super sloppy baseball isn't helping them any either.
I didn't look at the odds. Obviously the Rangers didn't choose to be in the WC round at all. I'm pretty sure they thought they would take the division but it slipped through their fingers.
