Who is to say he isn't, legends are not always positive icons.

There is nothing wrong with KPJ's talent he has upper end NBA skills - his head was the issue not the talent.

Peon's talent has always been massively overrated. This jabroni wasn't even set to start. The juice was never worth the squeeze.

It is, but yet is also isn't. The 82 games last year (and the 2 years before) are speaking loudly for Stone.

82 good games this year will help tip the needle back in the right direction.

Tanking is just a mean the National BBall Assoc invented which has nothing to do with fairness.

Stone wins a chip or goes to the Finals, credit is his.

I felt he was alright, he was more of a Street baller, a good shooting Street baller.

Organized bball is not something for everyone .... better said not the perfect fit for everyone.

Kyrie is also a street baller but he seems to be focused enough to at least make it work. (Flat earth and all)

I don't disagree, just explaining the logic.

Without a doubt, Stone mucked up here with KPJ from the get go of his Rockets tenure. And what we all know is that he isn't going to own it at all.

Stone fell on his face with all 3 members of WOW. Playing Porter at PG while trying to develop Jalen, Jabari, Sengun and others was an absolute sin.

The arrow is pointing up but maybe let's start with 30 wins before we say the word "championship".

Until then what we can only give credit for things that have happened in reality: being a KPJ enabling knob.

Getting rid of KPJ and hiring Ime are both very positive steps to letting everyone else shine. May this year be better for Stone.

If he had upper end NBA skills, he wouldn't have desperately signed such a player unfriendly contract. He is either an incredibly toxic talent that no team wanted to even take the risk on, or he just isn't that good.

KPJ leaving the team is really not hurting the team at all. Image wise KPJ's the one that loses, not the Rockets

He signed the contract knowing he had issues.....which is why he and the org signed it.....his talent has never been in question by anyone that knows basketball, his head and maturity have.

Once again, no opinion just using someone elses work to make some silly nonsensical point - yawn.

Maybe one day you will be original.

DD still butthurt that he was so dead wrong on KPJ is funny. I mean, he should be so used to being wrong at this point.

Just take the L like a man and move on.

I was wrong thinking he had matured, and had hope, that is what i was wrong about, not his talent as a bball player.
