Lol sure Dr politics - that's it.

Symptoms of the MAGA cult are not causes of its strength.

If anything the fealty to Putin drives a wedge in the Republican party, which is a good thing considering how dangerous and irresponsible they are.

Reduction of complex systemic phenomena to an all purpose heuristic is a hard no man. Cut it out.

When the democrats controlled the government they had zero shutdowns and zero issues with running the government. None. If you look at any poling in the past 20 years the NUMBER 1 & 2 issues for independent voters has always been prescription drugs prices and gun safety legislation. Democrats gave Medicare the power to lower drug prices for the first time in the history of the program. Democrats passed the first gun safety law in over 25 years which the ATF said is making huge changes to gun ownership for younger adults. Biden is working to remove medical debt on credit reports for over 60 million americans. How the **** can you say that the democrats arent doing things that people care about?

You're literally just spewing non sense that makes no sense but I dont blame you because every other American thinks just like you. They all think like you because its tough to accept the government is doing good things when you see high gas prices and high interest rates. People program out and dont listen to what their being told because they see the high gas prices in front of them.

I know this because i own a medical equipment company and talk to patients daily. Americans are dumb people

Theres no wedge in the Republican Party. The Republican party is the MAGA party. They will do whatever Trump tells them to do.

I didn't claim Biden has to do anything. He can decide to cut off aid to Ukraine tomorrow because of concerns over gas prices - or he can decide to double down on supporting Zelensky and ride out gas prices.

You take things personal that you shouldn't. Being the President of the United States largely isn't a fair job. Yeah - Biden is going to be blamed for gas prices if they remain high, and yes - he will be criticized if he cuts support to Ukraine. A candidate takes the country as it is, when they run. Biden ran in a time of a lot of turmoil and knew a lot of blame would be placed on him for some things beyond his control.

As for the current Democratic Party - yeah in a lot of ways it is pretty useless. From an emphasis on stuff that the overwhelming majority of Americans do not care much about, to an inability to control the government when the other party is entirely insane and off the rails. If Biden wins re-election, I suspect that he will be viewed differently than a lot view him now - BUT if he loses to Trump, he will be viewed as an overall failure for his inability to prevent such a divisive Politician from taking office.

There have been President's like this before - some like Truman are viewed well in hindsight, others like Carter - not so much.

There's a number of elected Republicans in House & Senate who actively support Ukraine.

So Russians can hold elections during war but Ukrainians can't?

Putin doesn’t allow real elections. I’m sure you know this.

What do you suggest Ukraine to do? Ignore their Constitution?

Let them into NATO and the EU. that would be the wise and prudent thing to do.

Russian elections don’t require vote counting or voting even. Holding elections in Russia is quite simple.

LOL... The biggest chunk of federal spending is going towards seniors. It's just amazing how stupid people become when they talk about the debt or deficit.... as if we are just tossing all that money towards Ferraris or corrupt Ukrainians or whatever it is just you can't articulate....

Only fools make up hyperbole about Ferraris and printing money....

Says the guy who tried to hide behind the "poor" and failed spectacularly..... You outed yourself as just some uninformed "both sides" guy.

It’s amazing how you can argue in tangents and not understand any key points. I legitimately feel dumber having ready your posts and remember now.. in prior discussions you were on par with DD in terms of being a moron.

here you go, you win. Let’s not engage anymore

You're right! Why would anyone actually discuss where all the US budget money is being spent in the context of the US spending too much money in Ukraine and not enough on the poor.

Should have never tried to hide behind the poor.....

Are you forgetting that Russia has INVADED Ukraine which kind of makes it almost impossible to have elections because Russia OCCUPIES part of Ukraine?

That doesn’t even get into what the Ukrainian Constitution says on the issue.

Come on, you are better than this bullshit. No one will take you serious when you trot out this nonsense.

A lot of nonsense recently on this topic in this thread. Debating how involved the USA should be in defending Ukraine from the Russian invasion is a viable and fair discussion

Making claims that Ukraine should hold elections while being attacked and occupied really isn’t. I guess those in the occupied portions of Ukraine should just mail their ballots in.
