You have to play for the division. That’s a 1st RD bye and home field in The ALDS (yes, I know the Astros home record) while avoiding 1-seed Baltimore until The ALCS
Astros, Rangers, Blue Jays all play at the same time tomorrow so no one will know results before they play. Toronto playing TB so Tampa has the ability to control who they’ll face in opening round (would they prefer to face Toronto or Houston/Texas?). Of course another decision for TB might be to rest players, especially, pitchers for 1st RD series starting Tuesday.
Here's something interesting. The Marlins may already have the #5 playoff seed over the Dbacks. The Marlins were up 2-1 in that suspended 9th inning game vs Mets. If they lose tomorrow and DBacks win then Miami is .5 games back of Arizona. They would then play that suspended game and most likely Marlins win to tie the DBacks (Miami holds tiebreaker) DBacks really have nothing to play for except a possibility of the Mets coming back in the 9th inning. (Also, DBacks had runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the 9th still)
