Recent Government shutdowns seems like a common occurrence when the Republicans are in control of the house. What a weird coincidence
Ok when shutdowns happens also shutdown their paychecks with no backpay. It's getting ridiculous with these 70 year olds acting like 5 year olds.
A shutdown is more likely than the Stros getting to the playoffs. Feel bad for all those federal employees.
He tried to BRIBE House republicans with a pay raise.... We need to get rid of this government - all lobbying, must be outlawed, no one serving beyond 75 years of age - mandatory retirement. And term limits for the SC, House and Senate. DD
Sneaking in a pay raise while threatening to shutdown the government to screw over everybody else from getting paid, how fitting and selfish of the Republicans. Not enough money to help those with student loans, but always enough Money for a pay raise
Hey loser any update on the Biden impeachment hearings you said would prove biden is guilty? Clown show are the MAGAts
god forbid Ukraine aid is cut!!! Jesus ****ing christ politicians are the worst. The manipulative language of the twat tweeting is equally nauseating
Shame Bowman's bad judgement will provide maga republicans a talking point on an otherwise painful loss...
Well, it looks like McCarthy just did close to that. Of course, it's only for 45 days, so Congress get to play this silly game all over again shortly. It's also not exactly clear what's all in the bill (though it seems to be a clean bill without Ukraine aid and reduced U.S. disaster relief funds), shifting blame for a potential shutdown to the Senate. ps. Despite rhetoric about allowing time for bills to be read before voting, Congress once again rushed through a last-minute bill that members likely had no time to read themselves. They probably just voted based on party leader directives or blind trust.
Yes. Also, oh look, it is exactly what I said would happen, they went along with the Democrats instead of risking a shutdown.
