Don’t get me wrong I fully meant the Stros to win, get tot the WS and beat the Braves. My days though of not being able to sleep and throwing tantrums at the screen becaue of what happens to a Houston team are behind me.
If the Astros lose today they are eliminated from the division if the Rangers win. Best case scenario: Astros win last 4 and Rangers lose today and at least 2 in Seattle.
I believe that if Crane asks Dusty back for another season, its the end of our window for winning. Furthermore, it would indicate Crane's head is not on strait and that the future of the Astros may be in peril.
Crane has set up a disastrously stupid org chart that has caused us to not win the division. If he doesn’t rectify that this off-season, yeah, grave danger.
nope. win tonight and win 2/3 vs arizona and stros make a wild card spot lose tonight and they no longer control their own destiny and need help from other teams
It would probably make me take a few steps back from the Astros. I honestly cannot take another year of that guy.
In my history as an Astros fan I can't think of a team that deserves postseason baseball less than this one given the last 2 weeks pathetic performance. But despite it all, it's still right there for the taking. I know this team still has it in them, we've seen it repeatedly through the years. Hopefully this big series win kicks it off.
How can a team possibly make the Postseason and not deserve it when it is literally based on the team's regular season record? Are you judging every other "deserving" team on their low point, or is it only the team for whom you purportedly root? Can you see how that just doesn't really make a lot of sense, my friend?
Still one more moment than you've ever brought anyone. Just... Ew. Another Randy Quaid from Major League. Boourns.
GTFO with this. I stuck with this team through a lot worse than this. All of these "believers" that wanted nothing to do with the team before 2015. When you play 9 critical games against the 2 worst teams in baseball and go 2-7, yeah you don't ****ing deserve it. Fortunately for us, making the baseball postseason is much more forgiving these days.
Well, now I'm beginning to challenge the assertion that you've ever watched baseball in your life, or you would know that there are more than 9 games in a season. Or, if you insist on judging deservingness outside the actual parameters of admission to the Postseason, why not make the argument that the Astros deserve to make it because they're the reigning champs, or have the hottest fans? Come on, you're better than this, mang!
